Derek Prince (1915 - 2003) was born in India of British parents. Educated as a scholar of Greek and Latin at Eton College and Cambridge University, England, he held a Fellowship in Ancient and Modern Philosophy at King’s College. He also studied several modern languages, including Hebrew and Aramaic, at Cambridge University and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
While serving with the British army in World War II, he began to study the Bible and experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. Out of this encounter he formed two conclusions: first, that Jesus Christ is alive; second, that the Bible is a true, relevant, up-to-date book. These conclusions altered the whole course of his life, which he then devoted to studying and teaching the Bible.
Derek's main gift of explaining the Bible and its teaching in a clear and simple way has helped build a foundation of faith in millions of lives. His non-denominational, non-sectarian approach has made his teaching equally relevant and helpful to people from all racial and religious backgrounds.
He is the author of over 50 books, 600 audio and 100 video teachings, many of which have been translated and published in more than 100 languages. His daily radio broadcast is translated into Arabic, Chinese (Amoy, Cantonese, Mandarin, Shanghaiese, Swatow), Croatian, German, Malagasy, Mongolian, Russian, Samoan, Spanish and Tongan. We Will Be Judged By Christ - Derek Prince (March-04-2021). The judgment seat of Christ is meant for us christians. Jesus will judge us, but not condemn us.
Derek Prince (March-02-2021) Watch Sermon: Five Principles Of Gods Judgment
In Romans 2 we read about five principles of God's judgment. His judgment is:
1. Based on facts,
2. According to our deeds,
3. Without respect of persons,
4. According to measure of light,
5. Holistic (also our secret acts/thoughts/motives are judged).
Derek Prince (February-26-2021) Watch Sermon: Two Types Of Judgements From God
Bible teacher Derek Prince distinguishes two types of judgment from God:

Derek Prince (February-18-2021) Watch Sermon: Paul Didn’t Take His Salvation For Granted. So Why Do We? It's remarkable that the apostle Paul - of all people - didn't take his salvation for granted. This has to bring us to reflection: if Paul didn't, why do we?
Derek Prince (February-16-2021) Watch Sermon: Eyewitnesses At The Resurrection Of Jesus. Who were the eyewitnesses of Jesus' resurrection from the dead? And what exactly did they see?
Derek Prince (February-14-2021) Watch Sermon: Was Jesus' Death & Resurrection Predicted? A lot of events from the New Testament were predicted in the Old Testament. Is this also true of the death and resurrection of Jesus?

What Happens To Our Souls When We Die? - Derek Prince (February-08-2021). We believe in the resurrection of the body. But what will happen to our souls when we die before this?
Derek Prince (February-05-2021) Watch Sermon: What Happened When Jesus Died And Went To Hades? According to the New Testament Jesus died and went into Hades. What did Jesus do in there? Bible teacher Derek Prince explains what happened.
Derek Prince (February-04-2021) Watch Sermon: What Happens When We Die According To The Bible? One of the great philosophical questions everybody asks is: 'is there life after death?'. As christians we believe there is life after death. But what exactly does the Bible say about this?
Derek Prince (February-02-2021) Watch Sermon: Resurrection Of The Body. This is Derek Prince's ninth sermon in his series 'Laying the Foundation', about the foundation of the Christian life and faith. Resurrection Of The Body.
Derek Prince (January-31-2021) Watch Sermon: What Happens When God's Kingdom Comes? When we pray the Lord's Prayer, we pray for God's Kingdom to come. But what happens when God's Kingdom comes?
Derek Prince (January-29-2021) Watch Sermon: Israel Will Play A Central Role In The End Times. Almost the whole Bible is about the people and the land of Israel. Israel is an important part of our faith: in our prayers and confessions. Also in the end times Israel will play a central role. What does the Bible say about this?
Clothed with Salvation - Derek Prince (January-27-2021). May your priests be clothed with righteousness; may your saints sing for joy. [And then God answers:] “I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints will ever sing for joy.” Psalm 132:9, 16 NIV There are two classes of persons referred to there, the priests and the saints. The priests are those responsible for spiritual instruction, for spiritual leadership. The saints are God's people who look up to the priests and are led by the priests and instructed by the priests. And the interesting thing there is that the clothing of the priests determines the condition of the people. The psalmist says, “May your priests be clothed with righteousness; then your saints will sing for joy.” And God gives back the promise, “I will clothe her priests with salvation and her saints will ever sing for joy.” So when the leaders of God’s people are clothed with salvation and with righteousness, then God’s people sing for joy. You see, it’s a sad fact that the people of God hardly ever rise much above the spiritual level of their leaders. How accurate those words of the psalmist are: if the people of God are to have the joy and the liberty and the blessing that God desires for them, then their leaders, their priests, must put on the garments of salvation and the robes of righteousness. There’s a tremendous responsibility in being a leader of God’s people.
Derek Prince (January-27-2021) Watch Sermon: The Overthrow Of The Antichrist. What does the Bible say about the antichrist? And how is he to be overthrown?
Derek Prince (January-25-2021) Watch Message: The Rapture Is Followed By The Judgment Of Christians. Since we are justified by faith through grace, we may assume that God won't judge us at the last judgement. But is that really true? Bible teacher Derek Prince explains what the White Throne of Christ (were Paul speaks about in The New Testament) represents.
Derek Prince (January-23-2021) Watch Sermon: What Will Happen When The Rapture Comes? We're all expecting the rapture. But what will happen when the rapture comes? What does the Bible say about this unique moment in history?
What Will Happen When This Age Ends? - Derek Prince (January-21-2021). As Christians we believe that there will come a moment in history when everything around us will come to an end. But what exactly will happen when that moment comes?
Derek Prince (January-19-2021) Watch Sermon: Why We Really Need Biblical Prophecy. 'Unfortunately, many people have been turned off by false flashy, shallow interpretations of prophecy and they’ve really lost confidence'. Without Biblical prophecy, Derek explains to us in this video, 'we’re stumbling in the dark'.
Derek Prince (January-17-2021) Watch Sermon: Do You Live In This World Or In The Next? In his letter to the Corinthians, the apostle Paul speaks about the difference between the eternal and the temporary. Since everything that we encounter in this life in the stream of time is temporary, we might ask ourselves are we living in this world (the temporary) or in the next (the eternal)?
Derek Prince (January-15-2021) Watch Sermon: At The End Of Time. This is Derek Prince's eighth sermon in his series 'Laying the Foundation', about the foundation of the Christian life and faith. At The End Of Time.

Derek Prince (January-11-2021) Watch Sermon: How Did Timothy Become An Apostle? Timothy was an apostle. But how did he become one? And what lessons can we draw from his apostleship?
A Rushing Torrent - Derek Prince (January-10-2021). Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like the streams in the Negev. Psalm 126:4 NIV There’s a prayer from God’s people for restoration. The picture there is very vivid, if you’re familiar with the Negev. The word that’s translated “streams” in Arabic is a wadi. A wadi is something special that’s found mainly in the Middle East. It’s a riverbed, which is dry most of the year. You can see that water has flowed in it, but when rain has not fallen within a few days it dries up and you just have the evidence that water once flowed in it. And so God’s people there in that prayer view themselves like one of those dry riverbeds in the Negev, the desert of the south of Israel. But their prayer is that God will restore them like the streams in the Negev. Such a vivid picture, because at certain seasons when there’s rainfall in the Negev it comes copiously, abundantly, and in a few hours what was a dry riverbed is transformed into an overflowing, torrential stream that sweeps everything before it, sometimes washing away bridges, even causing serious accidents, washing cars away so that where just a few hours previously there was nothing but dust and dryness, there’s a rushing torrent. And their inspired prayer is that God would restore His people like that stream in the Negev – that though we’ve been dry and dusty without much evidence of water, suddenly God is going to visit us and send such a visitation of His Spirit that it will be like a rushing torrent that will sweep all obstacles before it.
Derek Prince (January-09-2021) Watch Sermon: Don’t Hastily Appoint An Elder. Elders are appointed by laying on of hands in the Bible. However, this shouldn't be taken lightly. Paul even warns Timothy by saying: 'Don’t hastily appoint an elder.'
Derek Prince (January-07-2021) Watch Sermon: What Does The Bible Say About Apostles? Why were they appointed and what was their main task?
Derek Prince (January-05-2021) Watch Sermon: How To Commission Servants Of The Church. How do we commission deacons/servants of the Church? Bible teacher Derek Prince teaches us what actually happens in Acts 6.
Derek Prince (January-03-2021) Watch Sermon: How Can We Impart The Spirit Of God? In the book of Acts we read that through the laying on of the apostles hands, the Holy Spirit was given. The laying on of hands is still a very scriptural way to transmit the power of the Holy Spirit.
Derek Prince (January-01-2021) Watch Sermon: Why You Should Be Part Of A Local Church. We often think that we can do perfectly fine without being part of a local church. We are disappointed in the sermons, the local leadership and even the people of the congregation. Therefore we rather avoid the local church and create our own 'church' with our own preferred preachers (on YouTube). But is this the right attitude?
Derek Prince (December-30-2020) Watch Sermon: Examples Of Laying On Of Hands In The Old Testament. Bible teacher Derek Prince explores three examples of laying on of hands from the Old Testament.
Derek Prince (December-28-2020) Watch Sermon: What's The Purpose Of Laying Hands On People? The laying on of hands is the thing that brings continuity in the Body of Christ. In this video, Bible teacher Derek Prince explores what the spiritual purposes of the laying on of hands are.
Exercise Divine Authority - Derek Prince (December-26-2020). Jerusalem is built as a city that is closely compacted together; to which the tribes go up, even the tribes of the Lord – a testimony for Israel – to give thanks to the name of the Lord. For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. Psalm 122:3 NIV, NASB, KJV We see that God’s people are ordained by Him to come to a place where thrones are set, thrones for judgment, because God’s people are ordained to be His rulers in the world today, to sit with Him on the throne of judgment and to rule the nations on His behalf. But the only place where God’s people can take their rightful place on those thrones is the place in which they come together in unity to worship the same Lord. So the exercise of authority by God’s people depends upon our coming together. As long as we remain separate, as long as we hold ourselves apart, keeping to ourselves each in our little tribe, our little gathering, our little sect, without meeting together, we cannot exercise the authority that God has appointed for us. The authority depends on coming together. As we come together, we testify collectively that we worship the same God, the same Lord Jesus Christ, and as we make that testimony we have the right to take our place with God and with Jesus Christ upon the thrones of judgment, to stretch forth the rod of authority which has upon it the name of Jesus and to exercise divine authority and divine judgment on God’s behalf. But only as we come together in unity.

Gather Together to Give Thanks - Derek Prince (December-23-2020). Jerusalem is built like a city that is closely compacted together; to which the tribes go up, even the tribes of the Lord – a testimony for Israel – to give thanks to the name of the Lord. Psalm 122:3 NIV, NASB That’s the way that God intends His people shall give testimony to the rest of the world that they are His people. It says they go up together to give thanks to the name of the Lord. Under the Old Covenant, God ordained one place in Israel, the city of Jerusalem, where He placed His name and He ordained that at least three times each year every male Israelite above a certain age should go up to that place, meet together with all his fellow Israelites from every tribe, from every area of the country, and that collectively they should worship and give thanks to the name of the Lord. And that was their testimony to all the surrounding nations, that they all belonged to one nation, that they all worshiped the same God, that they all went up to the same place. Now, in the new covenant, Jesus is the one who bears the name of the Lord and God’s people give testimony to the world that they are the people of God, redeemed through faith in Jesus Christ when they meet together to give thanks to the name of the Lord. The Scripture warns us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together. It’s important that we let the world know that we are brothers, that we are members of the same nation, because we come together to give thanks and to worship the name of our Lord. We gather together as God’s people in the name of Jesus, the place that God has ordained.
Derek Prince (December-22-2020) Watch Message: Requirements For Receiving The Holy Spirit. Are there any requirements for receiving the Holy Spirit? Bible teacher Derek Prince points out that there are seven requirements.
Derek Prince (December-20-2020) Watch Sermon: Physical Manifestations Of The Spirit. Most christians haven't expressed what the Spirit has put in us. We don't want to be too emotional or too excited. But isn't that the same as quenching the Spirit that's in us?
Derek Prince (December-18-2020) Watch Sermon: The Baptism In The Holy Spirit Is Designed To Make Us Know That We're Part Of One Body. The Bible tells us: 'By one Spirit we are all baptized in one Body'. So Bible teacher Derek Prince concludes that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is designed to make us know that we are part of one Body. The Body of Christ.
Derek Prince (December-16-2020) Watch Sermon: How The Baptism In The Holy Spirit Is Administered. Bible teacher Derek Prince explains how the baptism in the Holy Spirit is administered.
Derek Prince (December-14-2020) Watch Sermon: Is A Biblical Church Excited Or Dignified? As churches in the West we have a pretty false picture of what Christianity is like. We think about it as very dignified. You really wouldn't get exited about anything. We are not really free to express what God is doing in us. But the people in the Bible were exited and enthusiastic. Why don't we?
Derek Prince - Watch Sermon: How To Know If You Are Baptized In The Holy Spirit? When we hear fellow christians talk about their baptism in the Holy Spirit, we might wonder: are we ourselves baptized in the Holy Spirit? How can we be sure if we are?
Derek Prince - Watch Sermon: The Holy Spirit Is Your Down Payment. Jesus Will Come Back For You. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit is a seal and a down payment. What does this mean? In this video Bible teacher Derek Prince explores these verses in depth.
Derek Prince - Watch Sermon: Three Successive Phases of Baptism in the Spirit. What exactly happened when the disciples were baptized in the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost? Bible teacher Derek Prince distinguishes three successive phases of this experience.
Derek Prince (December-06-2020) Watch Sermon: Who Baptizes In The Holy Spirit? Who baptizes in the Holy Spirit? Jesus does. Bible teacher Derek Prince points out that far too little attention is given to this.
Immersion In The Spirit - Derek Prince (December-04-2020). This is Derek Prince's sixth sermon in his series 'Laying the Foundation', about the foundation of the Christian life and faith. Immersion In The Spirit.
Derek Prince (December-02-2020) Watch Sermon: The Spiritual Significance Of Baptism. Water baptism can sometimes seem like a mere physical act. But there is a real spiritual significance of baptism that is often overlooked. Bible teacher Derek Prince helps us explore this remarkable spiritual outworking of water baptism.
Derek Prince (November-30-2020) Watch Sermon: Why Wait To Get Baptized? Water baptism was very urgent for the early church. They didn't wait for a baptismal service. Their salvation depended on it. So why do we wait so long with baptizing people?
Derek Prince - Watch Sermon: The Requirements For Christian Baptism. There are certain requirements in order to be baptized. You have to meet the conditions. Bible teacher Derek Prince explains what these conditions are.
Baptism Is Your Death Sentence - Derek Prince (November-26-2020). The meaning of baptism must not be taken lightly. Bible teacher Derek Prince even calls it 'your death sentence'. Learn why in this video.
Derek Prince (November-24-2020) Watch Sermon: Why Was Jesus Baptized? It's a famous scene with which we're all familiair with: Jesus being baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan river. But are we also familiair with the deeper meaning of this? Did Jesus really need to be baptized? And what exactly happend there in that river?
Derek Prince (November-22-2020) Watch Sermon: After Pentecost John's Baptism Was No Longer Valid. John the baptist had a powerful ministry, but after pentecost John's baptism was no longer valid. Bible teacher Derek Prince explains why.
Promises That Stand the Test - Derek Prince (November-20-2020). Your promises [O God] have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them. Psalm 119:140 NIV What a beautiful truth, God’s promises have been thoroughly tested. They are not just theories, they are not just abstract theology, they are something that stand the test of life and circumstances. I want to give my personal testimony in line with that. For about forty years, I have lived by the promises of God. I have proved them in many different circumstances – in war, in famine, in sickness, in loneliness, in bereavement, in misunderstanding. There’s a promise of God that meets each need that arises in our lives and those promises stand the test, they really work. Probably at some time or another some human being made you a promise and didn’t keep it, you felt let down, hurt, disappointed. But I want to assure you of one thing, that when God makes a promise, He keeps it. There are millions of people in the world today that can testify from personal experience that God keeps His word. His promises are reliable. Don’t be discouraged if people have let you down, don’t become embittered or resentful, because that won’t help you, but just turn your eyes to God. Focus on His faithfulness, concentrate on His promises and you’ll find that they have been tested and tried.
Derek Prince - Watch Sermon: The 3 Requirements Of John’s Baptism. Bible teacher Derek Prince explores the baptism of John in dept. The three requirements on which basis John baptized people were: 1. Repentance, 2. Public confession of sins, 3. Evidence of a changed life.
Embracing God's Commands - Derek Prince (November-18-2020). Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold, and because I consider all your precepts right, I hate every wrong path. Psalm 119:127-128 NIV What’s your attitude towards God’s commands? Do you fear them? Do you resent them? Do you try to get away from them? That’s a foolish attitude. Remember, God gave His commands to us not to create problems for us but to solve them, not to harm us but to help us. God’s love is in His commands. They are given to save us from ourselves, to save us from evil, to show us the way out of our difficulties and our problems. The psalmist had learned that, that’s why he said to God, “I love your commands more that gold, more than pure gold.” What is more precious than gold? Nothing in this created world. But God’s commands are infinitely more precious and the psalmist had learned that. Instead of running from God’s commands, resenting them, obeying them reluctantly, he said, “I love your commands more than pure gold.” And then he said, “Because I consider all Your precepts right, I hate every wrong path.” You see, when we love God’s commands and obey them; automatically they reveal to us what is wrong. They show us how to distinguish between good and evil, between what is beneficial and what is harmful. And when we are walking in the light of God’s commands, they keep us from everything harmful, from everything hurtful, from every wrong path.
Derek Prince (November-18-2020) Watch Sermon: What Was The Ministry Of John The Baptist? What was the ministry of John the baptist? And why was his baptism different from the baptism of the apostles in the book of Acts?
Derek Prince (November-16-2020) Watch Sermon: The Correct Meaning Of The Word ‘Baptism’. Where does the word baptize come from? What does it mean? And how do we distinguish between the different biblical baptisms (John’s baptism, the baptism in the book of Acts and the baptism in the Holy Spirit)?
Derek Prince - Watch Sermon: The Doctrine Of Baptisms. This is Derek Prince's fifth sermon in his series 'Laying the Foundation', about the foundation of the Christian life and faith. The Doctrine of Baptisms.
Anchored to God's Law - Derek Prince (November-11-2020). If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have renewed my life. Psalm 119:92-93 NIV One thing is certain in this world, we’re not going to escape affliction forever. At some time or other, each of us is going to know the meaning of that word affliction. In the New Testament the apostles told the new Christian congregation that we must, through much tribulation (or affliction) enter into the Kingdom of God. So don’t try to find a way through life that bypasses affliction, because if you do find it, it won’t take you to heaven. But in your affliction, you need an anchor. And that’s what the psalmist says in those words that I read: If God’s law had not been his delight he would have perished in his affliction. When the pressures, the waves and the billows swept over him, when it seemed that his tiny little vessel was going to be carried away on those monstrous billows, he had an anchor. It was God’s law and that kept him. And so he says, with gratitude, looking back on that experience, “I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have renewed my life.” As we turn to God’s law in the midst of our affliction we receive from it life, new life, life that wells up in spite of all the opposition and the pressures against us. Out of God’s law and God’s Word there comes a life that is a stronger and more powerful than all the forces that oppose us.
Derek Prince (November-11-2020) Watch Sermon: All The Law Is Fulfilled In One Word… LOVE. The person whose motivation is love is the only totally free person in the world. All the law is fulfilled in one word: love.
Derek Prince (November-08-2020) Watch Sermon: Christ’s Death Put An End To The Law As A Means Of Righteousness. Romans 10:4 tells us that Christ 'is the end of the law'. What does Paul mean by that?
Derek Prince (November-06-2020) Watch Sermon: The Essence Of Sin We All Struggle With. What is the essence of sin? The essence of sin is our refusal to depend on God. We like to try it on our own. That way we can boast in our works and the things we've done ourselves. But Derek Prince points out that God has made a way for our salvation that doesn't foster our pride: we are saved by grace through faith.
Derek Prince (November-02-2020) Watch Sermon: Christianity Is Not A Set Of Rules. Often our conception of christianity is that it is a set of rules. But if it were merely a set of rules, we would be able to earn it. But Derek Prince makes clear that we cannot earn it. That's why it's called grace. We can’t obtain the grace of God. The law/rules can only point out sin, not solve the problem.
What Is Biblical Faith? For we walk by FAITH and not by Sight - Derek Prince, A & Ω Productions (November-01-2020). What is Biblical faith? Bible teacher Derek Prince says that faith is a substance in our heart, it's something in our hearts that leads to new things. By faith we believe unto salvation.
Time to Consider - Derek Prince (November-01-2020). I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes. I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands. Psalm119:59-60 NIV It’s important that from time to time in the midst of life we pause and consider our ways. Many times the prophets of old challenged God’s people to consider their ways and we need to do the same. We need to ask ourselves from time to time: What am I doing? How am I getting on? Am I being successful? Am I finding true satisfaction or am I doing a whole lot of things that don’t really amount to very much, that don’t bring me true satisfaction? Am I perhaps being frustrated and disappointed again and again? When we consider our ways, it may lead us to do what it led the psalmist to do. He said, “I have considered my ways, and have turned my steps to your statutes.” He realized that his way was not God’s way, that his way was doing him no good, so he decided that he would turn from his way to God’s ways. He turned his steps to God’s statutes. He said, “I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands.” Sometimes when we pause to consider our ways, it leads us to see how foolish and unwise we are and it gives us an urgent desire to turn from our way to God’s way. We need to say, “I will hasten and obey Your commands. I will turn my steps to Your statutes.”
Derek Prince (October-31-2020) Watch Sermon: Get Faith And Works In The Right Order! We have to get faith and works in the right order! We are saved by grace through faith. Does that mean we don't have to do anything for God? That seems to be unlikely since the Bible commands us to do certain things. So what is the place for these works?
Derek Prince (October-29-2020) Watch Sermon: Stop Trying To Earn God’s Grace And Favor. What's the correct relationship between what we believe and what we do? Although we all know that we are saved by grace through faith, we often still try to earn God's grace and favor by our works. But it’s by faith, not works, that we’re saved
A Heart Set Free - Derek Prince (October-28-2020). I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free. Psalm 119:32 NIV What does it mean to be free? Does it mean that you just do anything you please at any time? That you throw off all order and restraint, you’re just self-indulgent, self-pleasing, self-willed. Let me tell you, friend, and I speak from personal experience, in my own life and in the lives of many others whom I’ve counseled from time to time, that’s not real freedom. That’s slavery. It’s slavery to self and it’s slavery to sin. But there is a kind of real freedom that comes when God sets our heart free. The psalmist says, “You’ve set my heart free.” What’s the evidence? “I run in the path of your commands.” When we are truly liberated by the grace of God and the power of God, it’s not to please ourselves, it’s not to do our own thing, but it’s to be able to obey God and be able to obey Him with delight, to obey Him with readiness, not reluctantly, not grudgingly, but freely and joyfully. The psalmist says, “I run in the path of your commands”: I’m not trying to find excuses for disobeying. I just long to know what Your will is. And when I discover Your will, I run in that pathway. There’s a note of eagerness, a note of excitement, that comes – not from pleasing self, but from seeking to please God, from doing His will. The Bible says, “He that does the will of God abides forever.”

You Cannot Repent Unless God Turns You - Derek Prince (October-23-2020). The turning starts with God. You cannot repent unless God turns you. We're dependent on God to initiate our repentance.
Derek Prince (October-21-2020) Watch Sermon: God Now Commands All Man Everywhere To Repent | Acts 17:30.
'God now commands all man everywhere to repent' is what Paul says in Acts 17:30, when he preaches the gospel in Athens.
We’ve not faced up to the fact that God will judge the world in righteousness. Jesus is not only our savior, but also our judge.
Derek Prince (October-19-2020) Watch Sermon: What Did Jesus Preach About Repentance? John the Baptist prepared the way for the Messiah by calling people to repentance. Jesus Himself also preached about the need for repentance. What exactly did Jesus preach about this?
Derek Prince (October-17-2020) Watch Sermon: Far Too Little Is Said Today About The Need For Repentance. Without true repentance there can never be true faith. Repentance is the first foundation stone.
Derek Prince (October-15-2020) Watch Sermon: What Happens When You Truly Repent?
The prodigal son came to himself and decided to return to his father.
Making a decision and turning around is what happens when you truly repent.
Derek Prince (October-14-2020) Watch Sermon: The Full Meaning Of Repentance.
Have we really truly repented? Or are we still double-minded?
Bible teacher Derek Prince explains to us that repentance is not an emotion, it is a decision.
Derek Prince (October-11-2020) Watch Sermon: The Doctrinal Foundation Of The Christian Faith.
Hebrews 6:1-3 describes a revelation that has escaped millions of Christians, but contains the doctrinal foundation of the christian faith.
Regarding these doctrinal foundation we have to:
1. Lay the foundation,
2. Once we’ve laid it, don’t keep relaying the foundation, go on to a complete building.
Derek Prince (October-09-2020) Watch Sermon: Through Repentance To Faith.
Paul in Acts 17:30 says: ‘God now commands all man everywhere to repent'.
We’ve not faced up the fact that God will judge the world in righteousness. Are we ready for that? Faith in Jesus is what saves us, but Bible teacher Derek Prince points out that we have to repent first.

Derek Prince (October-07-2020) Watch Sermon: 8 Effects God’s Word Can Have In Your Life.
The Word of God is alive. Since the Word of God is living and active, it can have a direct effect on your life. Bible teacher Derek Prince names eighth effects:
1. Produces faith (Rom. 10:17)
2. Seed of new birth
3. Spiritual nourishment
4. Mental illumination (Ps. 119:130)
5. Physical healing
6. Victory over sin and Satan
7. Cleansing and holiness (Eph. 5:25–27)
8. A spiritual mirror (James 1:23–25)
Derek Prince (October-05-2020) Watch Sermon: Why New Age Teaching Is Obviously False. New Age is on the rise. There are even forms of new age christianity. It teaches us (like mormonism) that we can become gods. But this is obviously a false teaching. Derek Prince states it very clearly: 'We are created, God is uncreated. The created can never become uncreated'.
Derek Prince (October-03-2020) Watch Sermon: The Word Of God Is Living & Powerful – The Nature Of God’s Word. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Derek Prince (September-29-2020) Watch Sermon: How Did Jesus Use Scripture?
Jesus says in John 10:35 'the Scripture cannot be broken.' This shows us how much authority Jesus grants the Scripture.
When the devil questions the Word, Jesus answers him consistently with 'it is written'. Eve made the mistake to doubt God’s words, we shouldn't, because Jesus said in Matthew 5:17 ‘Not one word will pass away’.
Derek Prince (September-27-2020) Watch Sermon: How Can We Trust The Bible If The People That Wrote It Were Fallible? Is the Bible trustworthy? Although God inspired the writers of the Bible with His Holy Spirit, the people who wrote it weren't infallible. So how can we trust the Bible if that's the case?
Derek Prince (September-25-2020) Watch Sermon: Who Wrote The Bible? The word authority comes directly from the word author. If we believe that the Bible has authority, we need to know who the author is. So who wrote the Bible? What do we know about the authorship of the bible. That's important because the Author the one who gives the Word its authority.
Derek Prince (September-23-2020) Watch Sermon: The Authority & Power Of God's Word
'You do not love God more than you love His Word'.
The authority of God's Word proceeds from the Author, the Holy Spirit, because an author gives authority to what is written.

Derek Prince (September-21-2020) Watch Sermon: You Don’t Love God More Than You Love His Word.
Do you really love God? Bible Derek Prince takes a test with us: 'You don't love God more than you love His Word'.
From John 14:22-23 Bible teacher Derek Prince draws five important facts
1. Jesus reveals Himself towards His disciples (not to the world),
2. Keeping God’s Word is a supreme test of the disciples love of God,
3. Supreme test of God’s love toward disciples,
4. Christ manifests himself through the (keeping of the) Word,
5. Father and Son will indwell us when we keep the Word.
Derek Prince (September-19-2020) Watch Message: True Disciples Keep The Word Of Jesus.
What's your relationship towards the Word? True disciples keep the Word of Jesus!
1. Jesus reveals Himself towards His disciples (not to the world),
2. Keeping God’s Word is a supreme test of love of God,
3. Supreme test of God’s love towards disciples,
4. Christ manifests himself through the Word,
5. Father and Son will indwell us when we keep the Word.
This is what true discipleship is about.
If your relationship towards the Word is right, your relationship towards Jesus is right too.
Derek Prince (September-17-2020) Watch Sermon: You Cannot Believe In Jesus And Disbelieve The Bible.
'You cannot believe in Jesus and disbelieve the Bible' because Jesus, as well as the Bible are both the Word of God.
It says in John 1:1 that 'The Word was in the beginning', 'the Word was God'. Bible teacher Derek Prince shows that there's total agreement between Jesus & the Bible (Rev. 19:11-13).
Derek Prince (September-15-2020) Watch Sermon: The Scripture Cannot Be Broken.
'The devil wants to undermine our faith in the authority and accuracy of the Bible'.
In John 10:35 Jesus notes that ‘the Scripture cannot be broken’
Jesus says it all in this passage. You can deny the authority of Scripture, but you cannot break it.
Derek Prince (September-13-2020) Watch Sermon: How Did The Wise Man Built His House Upon The Rock?
The wise man built his house upon the rock. How can we build on the foundation like the wise man in Jesus' famous parabel about the wise and foolish man, who both build their houses on different kind of fundaments?
How does the wise man in Matthew 7:24 build on the rock? By hearing and doing.
In the similar story according to the Gospel of Luke (Luke 6:46-49) there is an important addition, the wise man had to dig deep before he could lay the foundation on the rock.
This 'digging deep' represents five things Bible teacher Derek Prince tells us to remove these five things out of our lives in order to build on the Rock:
2. Prejudices (racial (for instance the racism in America), denominational, social and personal prejudices),
Derek Prince (September-11-2020) Watch Sermon: Is It Possible To Know Jesus Personally?
Bible teacher Derek Prince gives us two reasons why we are still able to know Jesus personally, like Peter knew Him:
1. Jesus was not revealed as the son of the carpenter, but revealed as the eternal Son of God
2. This revelation was granted through the Holy Spirit
It is equally possible to us to know Jesus personally.
Derek Prince (September-09-2020) Watch Sermon: 4 Steps To Lay Jesus As Foundation In Your Life.
Have you had that personal encounter with Jesus Christ like Peter did? Bible teacher Derek Prince gives you 4 steps to lay Jesus as foundation in your life.
Derek Prince explains Jesus' conversation with Peter in dept. From that conversation he draws four successive phases through which Peter passed and through which we should also pass:
1. Direct confrontation
4. Confession of faith
Derek Prince (September-07-2020) Watch Sermon: Is Peter The Rock Of The Church?
One of the most fascinating conversations that Jesus has during His time on earth in the gospel of Matthew is perhaps the one he has with the disciples about Jesus' identity (Matthew 16:18). They talk about the church and the foundation that it is built on.
Jesus tells the apostle Peter that He will built His Church on the 'Petra', the rock. What is this rock? Is Jesus talking about Peter himself? Is Peter the rock of the (Catholic) Church?
Derek Prince (September-05-2020) Watch Sermon: Christian Life Is Like The Construction Of A Building.
Bible teacher Derek Prince shows us the Biblical importance of building on this Foundation. In this video Derek Prince goes through the following passages:
- Jude 20-21 tells us to ‘build ourselves up in our most holy faith’. So we are responsible to build ourselves up.
- Ephesians 2:21-22 we are ‘a holy temple in the Lord’.
- In 1 Pet. 2:4-5 we read about Jesus as living stone, you are built up (...) to offer up spiritual sacrifices.
- In Acts 20:32 we read that it's the Word of God that builds us up.
Derek Prince (September-05-2020) Watch Message: Praise No Matter What.
O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory; awake psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. Psalm 108:1-2 KJV
There’s a man who’s made up his mind that no matter what happens he’s going to praise the Lord. It’s important to understand that praise should not arise merely from our feelings or our circumstances. It should arise out of our will; it should arise out of a deep will-seated decision. My heart is fixed: no matter what happens I’m going to praise God.
And then the psalmist says, “I will give praise even with my glory.” What does he mean when he says, my glory? Fortunately, the Bible does not leave us to wonder, because on the Day of Pentecost in his sermon in Jerusalem, the apostle Peter quoted Psalm 16:9 where David used the same phrase, “My glory rejoiceth” (kjv). In Acts 2:26 Peter quotes this verse, but changes one significant word. He changed glory to tongue, quoting it this way: ”My tongue was glad” (kjv).
So that tells us a wonderful secret, our tongue is our glory. Why is that? Or why did God give us a tongue? Do you know the real reason why God gave us a tongue – the primary reason why you and I have a tongue? It’s to praise God with, and only when we use our tongue for God’s glory are we using it aright. And our tongue is our glory because with it, above all other members of our body, we can glorify God and use it for the purpose for which we were created.
