Victoria Osteen (born March 28, 1961) is the co-pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, an author, the wife of Joel Osteen, and the daughter-in-law of John Osteen.Victoria Osteen was born Victoria Iloff in Huntsville, Alabama. She lived near Marshall Space Flight Center where her father, Donald Iloff – a mathematician with General Electric – was a member of GE’s Saturn rocket project team led by German rocket scientist Wernher von Braun. In 1963, at the age of two, Osteen moved with her family to Houston, Texas when her father took a position with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). She grew up in a southern suburb of Houston, near the Manned Spacecraft Center (now known as the Johnson Space Center). Growing up, Osteen attended the Church of Christ, a relatively conservative church, where her mother, Georgine Iloff, taught Sunday school and her father served as a deacon. Osteen attended (though did not graduate from) the University of Houston where she studied psychology while working in her mother’s jewelry business. It was while working in the jewelry store that she met Joel Osteen in 1985 when he came in to buy a new watch battery.

Watch Victoria Osteen (June-30-2020) Sermon: Communion. Victoria Osteen teaches about the power of communion and the atonement of Christ's blood in our lives. Luke 22:19&20 (NIV, 2011) says, "And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you." We believe that as we take communion and remember the price Christ paid for us on the cross, that God can bring a fresh newness in our lives. Do you believe God can bring a freshness in your life? Maybe you're struggling in a marriage, or a mundane work situation; know this, God doesn't want us to walk with heaviness and settle for a mundane life. He wants us to walk in excitement and eager expectation. The price has already been paid! Because of Christ's sacrifice we can have healing, deliverance and an abundant life in Him. Because of God's grace, we don't have to carry the weight of our burdens any more. Every time you take communion and remember what Christ did for you on the cross and the price that He paid, you are able to walk in fresh newness and greater anointing with excitement for the days ahead.

Victoria Osteen - Sermon: Don't Be a Complainer. It’s easy to notice what’s wrong in a situation and what could be improved. Victoria Osteen - Sermon: Guard Your Heart: Start Thinking Overcoming Thoughts. Our lives follow the direction of our thoughts. Not every thought that comes to mind is positive. Some thoughts are destructive if we dwell on them long enough. We need to recognize which thoughts are dragging us down and guard our hearts against them. Victoria Osteen - Sermon: God Has Made You More Than a Conqueror. God calls us more than conquerors! We are not slaves to circumstances. Watch Victoria Osteen - Sermon: Renew Your Mind. Romans 12 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” This means to not think like the world, but to think like Christ. We can't be conformed to this world's culture, instead let's keep conforming to God’s Word and His likeness.
Victoria Osteen - Sermon: Appreciating Every Area Of Our Life. When we appreciate something, we bring value to it and we are less likely to take it for granted. If you want the commanded blessing God has promised for you, the key is to keep the bond of peace.
Victoria Osteen - Sermon: Better Together. One of the greatest feelings in life happens when we are helping other people. God gave us an internal reward system because we are intended to motivate and help each other. That's the healthy way to live.
Be An Extravagant Giver - Victoria Osteen.
We are never empty-handed because we serve the Creator of the world. It might be giving a smile or a prayer. It might be holding the door open for a stranger and saying hello. Just let your light shine.
Be an extravagant giver of what you have. Have the mentality that says, “I’m never empty-handed. I always have something to offer!” And watch God take your little and feed a multitude. That’s extravagant giving!
Victoria Osteen - Sermon: Our Words are Containers of Power. The Bible says the spirit of the man sustains the man. When you utter words of faith and victory, it goes straight into your spirit, and it charges your physical body. Words are powerful. Words are containers of power.
