It is my opinion that the Magi who followed the Bethlehem Star to visit and worship the new King, were in fact Jews. I'm taking my thoughts from the book of Esther. Once the Jewish people were spared, many across the nation came to the Lord God of Israel. I base this on Daniel's teaching to the Magi, as well as Esther's order to study the Scriptures. So, the Magi I believe were Jewish Magi because of their ancestor's faith from the time of Esther and seeing God's hand in salvation. Again this is opinion. What are your thoughts ? I really enjoy your ministry.
