Bill Johnson (December-18-2019) Sermon: God's Vision, Conduct Your Work as Worship (Psalm 84:5). Lots of sparkling gems in this February 2019 talk by Bill to a group of worship leaders and worship team members. Quotes: “When a worship leader has a personal relationship with God, where there are ongoing, continual experiences with God, they can now be trusted to come into the corporate place and to use their “work,” as worship. Now you can translate that to all “work,” the mechanic, the medical doctor, dentist or housewife. The intimate relationship with God on an on-going basis enables us to use what we have - the work that we do - so that work becomes worship. Worship leaders have dual responsibilities. A vibrant personal worship life is essential. But they also need a heart and eye towards the people they're leading. Someone who plays, but ignores the congregation, is not a leader, they are just singers or musicians.”
