Bill Johnson (September-04-2019) Sermon: Pray… Hear God… Step Out in Faith. Bill speaks from Matthew 10:7-8 “The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” He challenges us to understand the significance of our calling to disciple nations. Most ministry training schools do not offer a course in casting out demons; yet it is clearly dear to the heart of God that we do so. We must step out in faith and trust the Lord to guide us on the path. We’ve all been in situations where we did not see our prayers answered, but we do not abandon our efforts, we press on. Quote: “All I know to do is to get in the quiet place, cry out to God, then get in the public place and take risk. God loves me enough to summon me into the secret place by letting me feel the pain of people that didn't get free. I can either use that pain to propel me into the secret place to get what has been made available, or I can pass it off and create a chance for somebody else to have a chance to minister healing when God gave me the opportunity. He's summoning us.”
