Bill Johnson (April-30-2020) Sermon: Prisoners of Hope (Zechariah 9:12). Great insight on Zechariah 9:12, “Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope.” Quotes: “Those with the most hope will also have the most influence. Hope is the joyful anticipation of breakthrough during trying circumstances. The word stronghold here is not a demonic stronghold, it is the place of safety, the kind you get from life-giving relationships in the Body of Christ. That happens when we are willing to pay the price “to know and be known.” We are living stones, joined in relationships, that form that stronghold of a safe building. Embracing fear produces offspring named “hopelessness.” Joyful anticipation reminds us that the Lord has already given us the tools we need for the issue we’re facing.”
