John Hagee (March-17-2024) Daily Devotional: Acts 4:12 - Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

We live in a world that places a premium on options. We like having choices. In fact, we are convinced that the more options presented to us, the better able we are to make the best decision. Our culture is consumed with preferences and having it our way.

Think about ordering a simple breakfast. Coffee? Would you like that black, with sugar or creamer, decaffeinated? How would you like those eggs: hard-boiled, scrambled, poached, over easy, sunny side up? Toast: white, wheat, multigrain? Breakfast meat, anyone? Your choice: bacon, ham, sausage patties or links, or steak.

Every day, the average person makes dozens of decisions. Our society affords us the luxury of many choices. We are so addicted to choices that we are offended when options are not available. However, that privilege can be abused. We become so accustomed to options that we begin to create choices where none truly exist.

The Pew Research Center released a poll of thousands of Americans. When asked if there is more than one way to heaven, 80 percent of Americans said yes. Forty percent of those claimed to be church-going Christians. Eight out of 10, under the age of 25, claimed that multiple religions offered multiple ways to find eternal life. They also believe that neither Satan nor hell exists. God, however, is not sitting on the throne, scouring poll results, and making adjustments to His plans based on our preferences.

God, in His infinite grace and mercy, has offered us ONE option when it comes to salvation. The only choice is Jesus Christ. No viable alternatives exist. “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). When it comes to salvation, there is no other option.

Jesus told the disciples, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). Jesus did not speak on His own authority, but that of the Father (John 14:10). He did not create this claim or argument. God had already said in Isaiah 43:11, “I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no savior.” And again in Hosea 13:4, God says, “For there is no savior besides Me.”

No alternatives. No Plan B. No other options. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. He alone is the beloved Son of God, the Alpha and Omega, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.

Today's Blessing:  Abba Father, thank You for sending Your only Son, Jesus, to bring us salvation. Thank You for opening the door to eternity with You. I gratefully accept this priceless gift. May I live worthy of Your calling. In the name of Jesus…Amen.

John Hagee (March-15-2024) Daily Devotional: Acts 4:32 - Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul...

Solomon pulled no punches in the sixth chapter of Proverbs. He flatly declares that there are six things that the Lord hates, seven things that He loathes (Proverbs 6:16-19). Every single one of those detestable things inhibits walking together in unity.

God hates:

  1. A proud look. Conceit, comparison, and competition are the enemies of unity.
  2. A lying tongue. The words that proceed from our mouths come from our hearts (Matthew 15:18). If lies, deceit, manipulation, and exaggeration pour from our lips, there is no basis for trust, no foundation upon which to build relationship. Lying destroys unity.

Hands that shed innocent blood. A man raises his hand against his wife. A lone gunman walks into a crowded theater. Children are sold into slavery. Everywhere abuse occurs, where innocent lives are poured out, where blood is spilled, life is diminished and destroyed. Separation and disconnection — not unity — preside.

A heart that devises wicked plans. The Joker and Lex Luthor might come to mind when we think of wicked plans. While global domination may not figure into our future, any plan that leads us away from God’s plan— a secret tryst, an illicit social media post, a dishonest business transaction — is evil. Such scheming leads us away from unity.

Feet that are swift to run to evil. Moral depravity pulls at us from every side. No need to plan – how easily our feet slide down this slippery slope. Sin — evil — always leads to broken relationship with God and with those we love here on earth. Those who hurry to pursue their own wicked desires break off unity.

A false witness who speaks lies. In a specific context, someone who perpetrates untrue statements about another can lead to unfair judgments and imprisonment for the victim. In a broader sense, slander and gossip can initiate and perpetuate untruths against another that lead to ruin. Marriages break up. Partnerships dissolve. Reputations are destroyed. False witnesses inhibit freedom and sabotage unity.

One who sows discord among brothers and sisters. The very word “discord” indicates conflict, friction, hostility and disagreement. Most of us say, “Well, I would never!” But it only takes a small spark — one eye roll, one raised eyebrow, one pointing finger, one whispered accusation, one well-placed insult — to stir up a conflagration that rages for years. Discord burns unity to the ground.

If we look around and see disunity in our relationships with spouses, co-workers or fellow Christians, let us examine our own hearts. Has one of the practices above driven a wedge? God has provided a way back: repentance leads to restoration.

Today's Blessing: Heavenly Father, I never want to do the things that You hate. Help me only to do and say the things that lead to life and love and that benefit others. Please forgive me when I fail. In Jesus’ name…Amen.

John Hagee (February-27-2024) Daily Devotional: Acts 16:25–26 - But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.

Prayer is not getting God to do your will; prayer is getting you ready to do His will. In today’s Scripture, notice that if Paul and Silas had the kind of prayer life where they were going to talk to God about what they wanted, they would have said, “Lord, set us free!” Instead of asking God why they wound up in this difficult circumstance or asking Him to get them out of it, they were giving God thanks and praise. Even though they were still in prison, they recognized that He was still on the throne. And even though they didn’t necessarily understand why He allowed them to be put in prison, they believed that He was the God who could deliver them. Which is why at midnight they were singing hymns of praise to God; and suddenly, they were set free.

When you start talking to the King about who He is, about what He’s done, and about what He’s going to do, it means you’re willing to trust Him right where you are. And when you do that, all of a sudden, heaven and earth begin to move, the glory of God fills your life with power, chains of addiction are broken, and captives are set free.

Today's Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you live today knowing that the coming of Jesus Christ is imminent, and we are prepared. Through the shed blood of the cross, our sins are forgiven. We are on our way to heaven to live forever in the peace, the love, and the joy that only the righteous can know. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

John Hagee (January-07-2024) Daily Devotional: Acts 3:19 - Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord...

Have you ever considered the beauty and power of repentance? More than a drag-your-feet action to be avoided, it is a miraculous gift from God!

Repentance is a rapid response to the sins to which we fall prey. It restores our relationship with our Heavenly Father. Sin separates us from God, but repentance sets us right again.

Proverbs 28:13 tells us that “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.” The sin that we hide and harbor causes us to live in spiritual poverty. The sin that we confess and renounce gains us spiritual prosperity.

We need not be ashamed of our need to repent. That is why God sent His Son. He knew that we would need to repent, that we would need forgiveness, that we would need our sins to be washed away.

And when we repent, times of refreshing will come. We will experience His joy in the dark times, His peace when chaos is all around, and His strength to soar above the storms.

If you long for thirst-quenching revival from the presence of the Lord, prioritize repentance. Be quick to seek forgiveness for the sins that separate. Dance in the refreshing that comes after repentance.

Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May the goodness of God lead you to repentance so that you are refreshed and renewed. When you seek Him, you will live!

Jonathan Cahn - Watch Sermon: A Return To Acts. As we look at our western culture we have to have eyes to see what's really going on in our society. What's influencing our culture and bringing these radical changes into our Christian founded nation? There are 3 primary demonic spirits that are at work in the culture and Rabbi Cahn teaches us some of the truth about today's climate in the US. In the end it there is hope for today, it's the power and authority of Jesus in and through us to the world around us. Let us step up and walk like the church of acts in spheres of influence we reside in.

John Hagee (October-19-2023) Daily Devotion: Acts 28:26-27 Go to this people and say: ‘hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you will see, and not perceive; for the hearts of this people have grown dull…’

A mystical character draws a timepiece on a gold chain from his pocket. He swings it slowly back and forth in front of his subject. With low, methodical words, he lures him into a trance, “You are getting very sleepy.”

As the conscious is subverted, and the subconscious comes into play, the subject easily succumbs to the master’s directives. If the master tells him he is cold, he shivers. If he tells him he is a chicken, he scratches and squawks across a stage.

He believes a lie, and his subconscious reacts with no inhibition. Reality has been suppressed, and he accepts fiction as fact.

We have been persuaded from political platforms to give up increasing control in our lives. The media undermines and mocks the value of faith and the traditional family. Things once labeled theories are now taught as absolute truth in our educational system. Society has believed the lies and fallen under the spell.

Jesus warned His disciples of coming persecution. He sent them out as sheep among wolves and urged them to be as wise and wary as snakes and as innocent and inoffensive as doves. We must do no less today – spiritually discerning, awake and aware of Satan’s lies.

Today's Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May your ears be attuned to His words and your eyes affixed to His face. May your heart remain firmly in His hands.

John Hagee (October-18-2023) Daily Devotional: Acts 17:28 - For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’

Everything that God created, He connected to a source. As long as the created stays connected, it lives and thrives.

In the heavens, God placed the sun and stars. If a star falls from the sky, it dies; it has disconnected from its source. On the earth, God placed trees and plants. If we pull fresh flowers from the ground, they begin to wither and die apart from their life source.

When God made humans, He created us out of Himself. Made in His image, He breathed life into us. In Him, we live and move and have our being – we are His children! We have unlimited potential because our Source is limitless.

Sin created a soul-deep problem; it separated us from our Source. Every one of us has sinned and is dead in trespasses. Like a fish out of water, we flail and gasp for breath. We are not where we belong – outside of His provision and power.

Without connection to our Source, we are dead men and women walking! Salvation through Christ reconnects us to our Source. We find life, wholeness, and abundance. Apart from Him, we can do nothing. Stay plugged in to stay powered up!

Blessing:  May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. As you commit to stay connected to your Source, may you be filled with all the fullness and power of the Holy Spirit to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth. Amen.

John Hagee (September-24-2023) Daily Devotion: Acts 1:8. - But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth

To our faith, we must add power! The power of the Holy Spirit fuels our faith.

The Lamb of God came to take away the sins of the world. Jesus told the disciples that He would be crucified, rise again, and ascend to the Father. He wouldn’t leave them alone; He would send another, and they would receive power when that Holy Spirit came upon them.

Power to do what? Jesus inspired them with these words in John 14:12: “In solemn truth I tell you, anyone believing in me shall do the same miracles I have done, and even greater ones, because I am going to be with the Father.”

The disciples saw Jesus take a sack lunch and feed 5000. He walked on water in the midnight storm. With a few words, He subdued the wind and waves. He halted a funeral procession to bring the dead back to life. And through the power of the Holy Spirit, we will do greater things than these!

On the Day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit filled the upper room, and the Church was born when that power came upon it. The gates of hell will not prevail against us! We are the Church triumphant.

Today's Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you be consumed by the fire and power of the Holy Spirit to do even greater things for the glory of God!

John Hagee (August-12-2023) Daily Devotional: Acts 3:1 - Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer.

Our faithfulness in simple and expected ways opens the door for God to do the unexpected things in our lives.

In today’s verse, Peter and John were on their way to pray at the temple. They had just spent three years walking with the Incarnate Son of God. Right before their eyes, they had witnessed Jesus raise the dead, calm the wind and waves with a word, walk on water, and turn a sack lunch into a 5000-person buffet. After the crucifixion, their mourning was transformed into joy when He rose victorious from the grave.

Yet, they were being faithful in this simple way. They were on their way to the temple, the very place that sent out guards to arrest Jesus on that fateful night.

They knew that they would experience God’s presence in His house. They understood that where two or three gather in His name, He joins them there. They expected to find the fullness of His joy, for burdens to be lifted, for yokes to be destroyed, for lives to be changed.

Faithfulness in this one simple way led to an unexpected, supernatural encounter for Peter and John. Something so simple invited God to do the miraculous.

Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you be faithful to worship together with other believers. May the Lord point out your part in the body of Christ and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, help you to fulfill it. May your faithfulness lead to miraculous encounters with the one true God!

Acts 3:6 - John Hagee Daily Devotional (August-11-2023). Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."

When we are faithful to do the things that God expects, He will show us the unexpected! The miraculous becomes the expected. In fact, Jesus declared that certain proofs would accompany believers (Mark 16:16-18). We can expect the sick to be healed. We should not find it peculiar when principalities and powers are defeated. That is the sovereign God we serve! In Acts 3, Peter and John were on their way to the temple to pray. Nothing unusual to report here! They were going about their expected business. A certain man, lame from birth, was lying in front of the Beautiful Gate. Every day, his companions carried him to this specific spot so that he could beg for alms – his expected daily routine. As Peter and John walked past him, he called out. The two disciples stopped and focused their attention squarely on the beggar. “Look at us,” Peter said. The man looked at them, hoping to receive some coins – an expected exchange. Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” Instantly healed, he went walking, leaping, and praising God into the temple. Unexpected! For those who believe, signs and wonders will follow. Expect the unexpected!

Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. As you go about your daily routine, may you expect the unexpected! May you be on the lookout for opportunities to glorify the Savior. Step out in faith believing in the name of Jesus…amen.
