Watch Todd White: Why am I on the Earth

Daily Devotional (January-06-2024) INSTRUCTING THE EARTH.

Scripture Reference: "O Earth, Earth, Earth, hear the Word of the the Lord....” Jeremiah 22:29 (KJV)

From the very day the Lord God Almighty created the Earth, it has been responsive and cooperative. This is because the planet Earth is a Creation, and we have to understand that all Creations of God are living organisms because the Creator Himself is Life (Deut. 30:20). Each of Creation has its own way of life, and there is resident within every Creation life. If you plant it in the ground and it's producing, that means that the ground itself is alive. Oftentimes, we make the mistake of assuming that the Earth doesn't have ears. However, the Holy Scriptures make us understand that it really does have ears, hence it can hear (Gen. 1:11). Simply put, if God spoke to the Earth and it responded, that is also an indication that it has ears. One would say that the Earth responded to God because He created it, but we have also seen that the Earth also responds to Times and Seasons (Gen. 8:22). This is one of the major reasons innovations are possible. Hence, many people are instructing the Earth through many ways because they have understood that it is endowed with a lot of resources.

Anytime the Earth must be instructed, we need Two Major Forces: The Force of Science and the Force of the Prophetic. Nothing can stop you once you're armed with these Two for they are the Tools of Dominion the Lord God gave to man. Sometimes, as Christian believers, many of us do not understand that whenever a Revival breaks out, it also activates new opportunities for innovations. This is because whenever the Earth sees the Prophetic, it will get ready to deliver. Oftentimes, we Christians would activate the rain, yet it's the unbelievers who practise the Principles of Sowing and Reaping. If we desire to bring God's Glory on the Earth, we must be prepared to instruct it for this is the Way of His Glory. God has given us the Holy Ghost, and He is the Glory Who activates all things (Rom. 8:11). Whenever we speak riding on God's Glory, the Earth has no choice other than to respond immediately (Ezek. 37:1).

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege You granted us through Your Word. O Lord, please grant that Your Word takes root in our lives in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.

Bill Johnson Sermon - Christmas Message: Peace on Earth. Bill Johnson teaches on God’s heart for peace in the earth. More than ever, we need peace and reconciliation not only between different nations, but between people and God. At Jesus’ birth, the angels declared “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and goodwill towards men”. What happens in heavenly realm is to have an effect in the earth - Jesus’ birth brought glory to God, and peace to the earth. As we continue to grow in awareness of God’s Presence with us and of the spiritual realm, we will see His effect on the natural realm, and peace released in the earth. This Christmas message of peace and hope is followed by a time of Communion.

Daily Devotional (October-11-2023) MAXIMIZING YOUR LAST HOUR ON EARTH.

Scripture Reference: “Making the most of every opportunity, for the Days are evil.” Ephesians 5:16 (New International Version)

According to our Key Scriptural Text, it is pertinent for us as Christian believers to take Counsel from the Holy Bible which admonishes us to make good use of our time because we live in perilous times. We are all going to be held accountable for the way we spend each precious moment the Lord God Almighty has given us. He has called us all to be wise in how we spend our days hence we need to be asking ourselves the following questions: Does what I am doing have an Eternal Impact? Could I be doing something else with my time that would glorify God more? We should be setting boundaries and planning our days in such a way that glorifies God. We should examine our time and make sure that we are maximizing each hour wisely and understanding what the Will of the Lord is. One should be maximizing his last hour on Earth by walking in the newness of Life (Rom. 6:4; Rom. 8:1;) and walking by Faith rather than by sight (Heb. 11:6; Gal. 5:7). We also have a responsibility to walk in the Spirit and be led by the Spirit (Gal. 5:16; Rom. 8:14, 16).

Walking worthy of the vocation wherewith we are called is another way of maximizing our last hour on Earth (Eph. 4:1). This also requires being consistent in Soul winning and Missions. The Most Important Key, which the Lord Jesus used throughout His Entire Mission to redeem mankind was walking in Agape Love (Eph. 5:2). There are certain keys involved in maximizing your last hour on Earth:

1. Realize the brevity of life: (Ps. 90:12) This life is meant to be a preparation for the Next Life and we should determine what God wants to accomplish for Himself, our families and others through our Faithful service. God will evaluate our Works in Heaven by assessing how effectively we lived our lives on Earth.

2. Cultivate Youthful Piety:(Ecc. 12:1) Remembering our Creator means acting in the Way He intended for us to act when He created us. He has given us Life and the opportunities that come with youthfulness. We can "remember" God only by the help of the Holy Spirit, as we "put on the New Man, which after God is created in Righteousness and True Holiness" (Eph.4:24) and we must do so before death comes.

3. Subordinate Earthly duties to Heavenly Duties:(1Cor. 7:29-31) We live in the period when all things of the world are hastening toward an end. For this reason life in this world should not be our utmost concern. We should direct our greatest attention toward our Heavenly Home (Heb. 11:13-16).

4. Live a Genuinely Holy Life: (Eph. 5:1-2, 15-16) This is a call for us to understand and practice Complete Holiness (1Thess. 5:23).

5. Showing a consistent Good Example before the world: (1Tim. 4:12) We have a responsibility to model Christ Jesus before the unsaved by "Walking in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the Time" (Col. 4:5).

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, please grant us the Enabling Grace to maximize our last hour on Earth wisely so as to finish well and strong in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.

Watch Tony Evans Sermon: Drawing Down God’s Kingdom to Earth. Dr. Tony Evans focuses on the concept of God's kingdom and its relevance in our lives. When we pray for "Thy kingdom come," we are asking for God's rule to manifest in our lives, aligning our decisions, relationships, and priorities with His will.

David Jeremiah (August-01-2023) Daily Devotional: Utopia on Earth

Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. - Isaiah 9:7

Recommended Reading: Revelation 21:22-27 - THE GLORY OF THE NEW JERUSALEM - 22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 24 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. 25 Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). 26 And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. 27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

In 1516, the English churchman, philosopher, and advisor to King Henry VIII, Sir Thomas More, coined the term utopia when he published a book by that name: Utopia. It described an imaginary island country named Utopia (“no place” in Greek) where life was lived in perfect order and balance.

Will there ever be a world where life is ordered and balanced? According to the Bible there will be. First, for a thousand years Christ will rule a kingdom on earth which is not totally problem-free, but which is ordered by His perfect rule. Then, for all eternity, the new heaven and new earth will usher in the New Jerusalem where life will be perfect—devoid of death, mourning, and pain.

Today, we see dystopia. But in the future we see the Kingdom of God—first on earth, then on the new earth. Perfection is coming for all who wait for it in Christ.

We reject as a proud, self-confident dream the notion that man can ever build a utopia on earth. - The Lausanne Covenant

Joyce Meyer (May-09-2023) Daily Devotional: The Happiest People on Earth

I think some people have a perception of Christianity as a stern, severe, and joyless lifestyle. That's because many who call themselves Christians have sour attitudes and sad faces. They can be critical of others and quick to judge. Those of us who love and serve God and His Son, Jesus Christ, should be the happiest people on Earth. We should be able to enjoy everything we do, simply because we know God is present. God sent Jesus to ensure we would enjoy life. Our joy makes God happy!

Happiness is an emotion that fosters well-being, and it is contagious. One of the best ways to witness to others about Jesus is to be happy and enjoy all you do. Since everyone simply wants to be happy, if they see truly happy Christians, they will be open to learning about and receiving Jesus themselves.

Power Thought: I enjoy every moment of my life.

Prayer Starter: Lord, I want to be happy and to show others the joy only found in You. Thank You for helping me find my joy, amen.
