SCRIPTURE: And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. (Romans 12:1 NLT)
DEVOTIONAL: Your Body Belongs to God
From this week’s theme verse, Romans 12:1, we see that it’s not unreasonable that these things are requested of us. Paul goes on to say in verses 2 and 3, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think;”
