'What would happen if we would eliminate all reference to the visible supernatural manifestations from the book of Acts? None of the stories would be left intact.' Bible teacher Derek Prince tells us about the importance of realizing our need of God's supernatural power. 'Christianity is a religion of God's supernatural power.' And it's going to be a matter of 'whose rod wins'. It's not argument, it's demonstration. We have to have the Spirit enabling us. One main form of that enabling, is the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12). It's particularly the revelatory gifts we desperately need in the church today.
