Daily Devotional (September-18-2023) JESUS CARES FOR YOU.
Scripture Reference: Matthew 6:25-27 NLT - "That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life-whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?"
Well, is obvious we're commanded not to worry about life, what we will eat or what we will drink; nor about our body, what we will put on. Many believers have great issue concerning the subject "worry". To many, worrying is a normal thing in life and they believe every human being should at a point in time worry. The question is “must we give place to worrying?".
My dear, the answer is very simple "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life..." Jesus cares for you. This is a call to a total trust in God.
The teachings of Jesus is so clear on what to do and on what not to do. Can all the things we worry about add a single moment to our life? Certainly not. Worrying is a sign of unbelieve. The whole thing is that if we trust our entire life to Christ, He will provide everything we ever needed.
"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all that he has done."(Philippians 4:6 NLT) We are not to worry about anything else. Whether you made a big mistake or perhaps you fell into sin. Scripture says don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Just with all boldness tell God what you need. Jesus cares for you. Not your house, cars, job, no. For 'YOU!'
Isn't that wonderful, that Jesus cares for you? That should get you excited. He doesn't want you to worry about anything anymore. My dear, God is with you. So, therefore, refuse to be worried. Rather, in faith, take all your needs and cares to the Lord in prayer and don't forget to thank Him for all He has done.
PRAYER - Lord I love you, please help me to trust my life to you. For you care for me. Thank you for your peace that fills up my heart because I believe in you. I refuse to be worried. Instead, I choose to trust everything to God, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
