Daily Devotional (January-18-2023) LEARN TO ALWAYS MEDITATE ON THE SCRIPTURES
Scripture Reference: Joshua 1:8 - "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
Most believers are always concern with things that are unnecessary. They keep making the minor things major and giving attention to things that doesn't deserve it.
If you would spend sometime with meditating on scripture, you will be amazed at the result. Meditation helps you to discover the power behind a particular scripture of verse. Practice what I'm telling you here write now and see the glory of God in your life. Take this scripture for instance, (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) (2 Corinthians 10:4)
As you meditate you will see many things like, the weapons of a believer is not a carnal one but they are firstly spiritual and then they are effective only through God. So our concentration is not on a human being somewhere. We are at war with spiritual wickedness and principalities in the dark kingdoms.
Don't live your life fighting your neighbors or your families when you are to win them for Jesus. Your life can be full of joy and peace. Your life can be full of victory and prosperity but you have to accept the responsibility and act accordingly. Understanding your role as a believer gives you upper hand over others. Amen
PRAYER - Dear Father, thank you for your truth in your Word, which is my life and purpose, and by that my life is from glory to glory. My life is an unending running of graces in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
