Daily Devotional (July-19-2025) THE GREAT PLAN OF GOD
Scripture Reference: 2 Timothy 1:9 - "Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began"
Now we are in a time where many have no understanding into God's great plan and purpose.
Many think God's creation plan is centered on men, but that is not true. God is a God of purpose. He plans what He will do; then He Carries out His plan. The truth is God is working according to His mighty power to accomplish all that He has purpose to do. Nothing else is that important to God than His plans and purpose.
Christ is the center of everything in God's plans. The center of God's plans and purpose is His son, Jesus Christ. All of God's truths center in Jesus Christ. All the promises of God will be fulfilled in Christ. My dear, you need to know that God's plan, God's purpose, God's promises, and God's will are all centered on Christ. The seat of all things is Jesus Christ.
We will never understand God's actions until we see what His objective is. If you understand His actions it will help you to live a purposeful life. Why does God do what He does? God's purpose came before creating man.
Life will continue to be a mystery to us until we learn that God's Son, not man, is the center of everything in God's plans and purposes. God's objective in all things is the glory of the son! In whatever God does, from eternity past to eternity future, God's great objective is to honor and to glorify His Son. So you were saved not according to what you think you can do or not according to what you did, but it is according to His own purpose and grace. This plan began before world in Christ.
Yes you are very important to God, you are important and qualified because of Christ.
PRAYER - Dear Father, I'm so excited and amazed by your Word that Jesus is the reason why I'm saved and called with a holy calling for the preaching of the Gospel. I'm strengthen with the sense of His own purpose and grace I'm saved to bring others to Him everyday in Jesus Name, Amen.
