Read Daily Devotional (June-28-2022) THERE ARE TIMES YOU HAVE TO TRUST AND BELIEVE

John 9:1-3, TLB - "As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. “Teacher," his disciples asked him, "why was this man born blind? Was it a result of his own sins or those of his parents?" "It was not because of his sins or his parents' sins,” Jesus answered. "He was born blind so the power of God could be seen in him.”

Do not attribute everything to sin. Jesus and His disciples saw a man blind from birth, and Jesus used this opportunity to teach His disciples (and us) a very important lesson.

You may be experiencing problems and difficulties in life that seem to suggest that is as a result of some current or past sin in your life. Or may be some sin in the lives of your parents. Or Demonic or witchcraft activity, from family, neighbors and work colleagues. These are the ways most Christians even think when they happen to face a challenge either with their faith, health etc.

Be very careful about suggesting such things to people with painful problems. You would push them to desperation. Instead of suggesting these things, rather pray and ask God about it.

Jesus is telling us that there are painful things that happen only for the glory of God. It would be difficult to understand exactly how they glorify God, but they do. God will show His power, with time. Be encouraged. God has not abandoned you. Do not get desperate to the point of doing what you shouldn’t do. It is not everything that you have to “deal with”.

Do not allow anyone to suggest your painful experience is someone’s fault or evil intention. Your God is great, and He’s not sleeping. He’s been there all along.

Focus on pleasing the Lord. Focus on doing what He wants. Take your time to hear Him clearer than you’re hearing others. He would be glorified in your life.

PRAYER: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your glory and your grace in your Word that guides and protect me. I refuse to walk in ignorance, and I receive my favor. In there's name.
