Daily Devotional (April-07-2025) WATCHMEN UPON THE WALLS
Scripture Reference: Isaiah 62:6-7 - "I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth."
There are watchmen that God has set in this generation which shall never hold their peace day and night: which includes you and I, let's not forget and keep quiet. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."(John 3:16 NIV)_ God doesn't want man to perish or to die and go to hell: child of God let's make God proud so that we can boldly say "we tried".
"Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."(Matthew 9:37-38)
You that God has saved, keep not silence, and gave Him no rest untill more labourers are raised from around the world. The harvest is indeed plenteous; many yet to be saved and many yet to know about Jesus Christ. Pray that God will prepare men and women that carry the Holy Ghost fire in them; an army that is a burning and shining light ready at all times to preach and to contend over souls against the force of darkness.
Resist the devil in your towns, your schools and around you. Is time to be intentional about the Gospel. There is war going on my dear over souls. You are a watchman upon the walls of this world, O Child of God, you have all that it takes to resist the devil and put him where he belongs. Keep the devil busy till God established many for the Kingdom. Contend in prayer over souls in institutions and cities and again you can also contend with the enemy in your givings. Giving to support soul winning around the world.
Let's take responsibility and change this world by the power of our prayer and by the Might Name of Jesus Christ.
PRAYER - Father God, thank you for entrusting this glorious Gospel to me, your Word is hidden in my heart and I'm preaching it and announcing it to all. I pray that more labourers are being raised across the world, many that are full of the Spirit and the Word in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
