Daily Devotional (July-29-2025) YOU HAVE HIS LIFE
Scripture Reference: Galatians 2:20 - ”I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Colossians 3:16 says, ”Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom…” Not many realize how sublime this is. There’s a reason to anything God says and we have to look at it with all seriousness. Is not enough for you to read about His life for you. The Bible calls us practitioners of the Word. Christ in you is everything; that was God’s dreams and the purpose of Christ’s redemptive work.
The Word of God in a man makes him extraordinary; it causes you to grow up in God, in all things and in all areas. Apostle Paul in our opening verse, was confident of his knowledge concerning the life he now live; ”…but Christ liveth me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God…” Though he is crucified with Christ, he realized that now Christ has become his life.
How inspired are you about the life of Christ in you? That was his dream before you were born; He came to make us sons of God, to make it possible for us to be indwelt by God and have His life imparted to our spirits. His Word in you builds you up and makes you effective in itself.
The Word of His grace in you is your victory over this world. You are not just an ordinary person; every step you take is a “Christ-in-you” person walking. My dear, let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom for this is the will of God for you. No wonder Jesus said, _”…If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”(John 14:23)
It makes no difference where you are in this world; be conscious and aware that the Father and Jesus are at work in you- to achieve in and through you the extraordinary and to make manifest the mystery and the fragrance of the knowledge of Christ to the world. Hallelujah!
PRAYER - Father in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, thank you for your life and power which is at the moment at work in and through me manifesting your mystery and fragrance to the whole world. I’m the fragrance, the perfume of Christ right now to all men. Amen.
