Jentezen Franklin Daily Devotional (February 12, 2025) How To Miss Your Miracle (Part 2).

"By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter." Hebrews 11:24

The paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda shows us how to miss our miracle. The first way you can miss your breakthrough is to make excuses. The second mistake the paralyzed man made was accepting his situation as final. He had been in this condition for 38 years. When we have a defeated mindset, we will never believe God has called us to something greater.

You might be facing challenges and hardships, but your journey is not your destination. It's time to step out of where you are. We often deal with the same problems repeatedly, but God is calling us to new territory. Don't give in to the "reality" that nothing can ever change.

Christians often say, "I guess this struggle is just my cross to bear." That's code for "I'm just going to stay here; this is the best God has for me." The cross represents the greatest victory that Jesus walked in. Don't accept your situation as final. Today's test can be tomorrow's testimony. Pray for tenacity and stop accepting what the enemy sets out for your life as final.
