Joel Osteen Daily Devotional (August 12, 2025) Celebrate Who You Are.
There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears. Philippians 1:6, MSG
Today's Word: Too many people go through life feeling wrong inside. They get up every morning and take inventory of their faults and weaknesses. There’s nothing the enemy would love any more than for you to go through life focused on your failures, how you don’t measure up, being against yourself. Don’t fall into that trap. When he whispers those condemning thoughts, “You blew your diet. You were late to work. You lost your temper. You gave in to that temptation,” just remind yourself that you are not a finished product. You may have some things wrong with you, but you have a lot more right with you. Learn to celebrate who you are and not beat yourself up because of who you’re not. God is changing you from glory to glory. You don’t have to be a finished product before you feel good about yourself. The more you give God thanks for what He’s done, the more He releases strength, favor, and new levels. Keep honoring God, being your best, and He’ll get you to where you’re supposed to be.
Prayer For Today: “Father, thank You for the good work You’re doing in my life, and I am absolutely convinced that You will keep developing and bringing it to full completion. Thank You that I can be free from the enemy’s condemnation. I declare that I will not be moved from believing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
