Joel Osteen (June-26-2025) Daily Devotion: Stay Close to the Right People.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: The women said to Naomi: “Praise be to the LORD, who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel! He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age.” Ruth 4:14–15, NIV

TODAY'S WORD: Naomi lost her husband in death, and then both her sons died as well. She was so discouraged that she didn’t think she could go on. She had been full of joy and sweetness, but now she was bitter. She even changed her name from Naomi, which means “my joy,” to Mara, which means “bitter.” She was saying, “Call me bitter.” But her friends refused and kept calling her Naomi. She was trying to stay in defeat, but they said, “No, you’re coming into victory,” and eventually she did.

If you have been through disappointments and loss, you need people around you who will remind you about who you are—not people who will get bitter with you and agree with the defeat. Stay close to people who will call you blessed and victorious. You want people in your life who will remind you that your best days are yet to come, that what was meant for your harm, God will use to your advantage.

PRAYER FOR TODAY: “Father, thank You that You are able to take the most unfair situations in my life and turn them into positives. And thank You for the people in my life who call me victorious and blessed. Help me to stay close to those who remind me of who I am. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

I would like to make good friends that pray for me and listen to my problems and help me how to deal with it instead of people who critisize me if you know what I mean? Not helping
Thanks for the message Joel, it's inspiring me and gives me thoughts of how to handle things in life. Bless you and your ministry. Love. Tala Edwards

Joel Osteen Ministries Joel Osteen is a preacher who gives inspiration! And that’s true, he is positive, his sermons are positive, his ministry is positive. The parishioners of his church are very successful people, as a result! How does he inspire millions of people around the world? Let's find out! Joel Austen began preaching in 1999, but his ministry began long before: in 1982, Osteen, left his studies, returned from Houston and invited his father to create a television ministry in LakeWood Church. He became the leader and inspirer of this ministry.  Father preached, the son made video reports that everyone would like. Joel helped his father in organizing the ministry: he prepared his father for the scene; picked up suit and tie; worked with lighting and video equipment in the hall, for best results.
