Psalm 27:14 - John Hagee Daily Devotion (December-02-2024)

Updated December 02 2024 In Daily Devotions by John Hagee

John Hagee (December-02-2024) Daily Devotion: Psalm 27:14 - Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!

We can expect the unexpected when we have put our faith in the Lord. But do not expect His reply on our timetable!

We often bring our petitions to the Lord and expect Him to answer by the close of business today. We place time restrictions on God and grow impatient with Him when He does not respond to our demands.

As we expect the unexpected, we must remember that His thoughts and ways are much higher than ours – beyond our understanding and explanation. Abraham waited 25 years for the son that God promised him. Sarah was 90 years old when she gave birth to Isaac – that was unexpected!

Moses was 80 years old when God sent him back to Egypt to lead the children of Israel out of slavery. He considered himself a failure, but God had the unexpected in mind!

When we trust God’s timing, He will part the waters, move the mountains, and make a way through the wilderness of impossibility. In the fullness of His time – when we are led by His Word and His Spirit – He will orchestrate every detail for the right-on-time arrival of our blessing.

Our responsibility is to trust His timing and wisdom in the waiting. He will keep us in perfect peace when we focus on Him. In His good time, we can expect the unexpected!

Today's Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. God’s delay is not His denial! He will steady and strengthen you while you wait for His reply.

Thank you PASTOR HAGEE. THAT HELPED ME THrough these times. Sometimes I want peace of mind. Than some thing happens I least except. God knows! I lost a son in 1990. He was 26. You have given me strength to keep on living. I want to go to heaven. I pray I see my son. Jesus loves all of us. My grandma told me about Jesus when I was a child. I know he is coming back! In a wink of an eye. Thank you for your TV show on Sunday and Facebook. I watch you every Sunday. God bless you.

I am fifteen years old and immensely receive your messages. I have been praying to God every night, and yes, sometimes I do grow impatient when God doesn't respond. But, now I am very thankful that I have read this blessing from you Pastor John Hagee. I will wait on God to answer my prayers.
