Christian Motivation - THE AMAZING CALLING OF ISAIAH THE PROPHET

John Hagee (March-17-2024) Daily Devotional: Isaiah 40:29: He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.

The fact that we were born is proof that God knew that this earth needed our potential. He has ordained a special purpose for each one of us.

We all have potential! We can make no room for excuses – limited resources, lack of education, lies from the past. God will take the little bit that we offer to Him, and He will make it a whole lot!

In every seed, there is the potential of a great harvest. In every fish, there is potential for a school. In every bird, there is potential for a flock. In every man, there is potential for a nation.

Bethlehem’s manger was not a five-star hotel, but it changed the course of the world. One small stone killed Goliath and changed the destiny of Israel. Through one obedient maiden, a King was born Who has blessed the nations. Faith that is the size of one small mustard seed – as small as a BB – can move a mountain of impossibility.

God has given us the power to reach our potential. We must seize every opportunity to put the talents that He has given us to work and act upon the dreams that He has dropped into our hearts. Nothing is impossible to those that believe they can!

Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May God remove every mountain of impossibility that has restrained you. May He crush every fear to convince you that nothing is impossible for His child.

John Hagee (February 21, 2024) Daily Devotional: Isaiah 1:18 - “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool."

Most people consider prayer to be like a drive-through window. It’s where they pull up and don’t have time to stay, but they want to make sure their order gets in and they get just what they want before they rush away. They pull up to heaven, and God says, “Welcome to McHeaven. May I take your order, please?” As sad as that sounds, that’s what a lot of people think about prayer.

The first thing they...and we...need to know about prayer is that prayer is not a monologue; prayer is a dialogue. Prayer is not where I speak and God listens. It’s where God and I have a conversation. Not only do I get the opportunity to speak to Him, but God very dearly wants to speak to me. Prayer is how we invite the supernatural presence of the Almighty to invade our life. Prayer is where we take time to learn how God effectively communicates with us! Prayer is where we get to hear exciting things when we stop talking and start listening to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. We get to talk to the Commander in Chief and ask Him what He wants us to do here on this earth so we can wage spiritual warfare and overcome the enemy.

Today's Blessing:  And now may the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you go from glory to glory and from strength to strength. May you go from victory to victory, and may God give to you the desires of your heart. May God give you a vision of your future and give you the strength to realize that it is His desire for you to have heaven’s best while you dwell on this earth. In Jesus’ name, we pray and release this blessing upon the righteous of God.

  • New Testament - Mark 5:21-43
  • Psalms & Proverbs - Psalm 38:1-22, Proverbs 10:8-9

John Hagee (February-01-2024) Daily Devotional: Isaiah 55:11 - So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Do not focus on any situation until you have focused your faith first on a God Who never fails. Circumstances can sink your best intentions. Despair can demolish your hope.

Discipline yourself to exercise your faith and feast on God’s Word. Instead of thrashing about in a sea of fear and doubt, ground yourself in His truth. Lift your eyes to discover where He is at work all around you.

Every line and letter that He has spoken over you was sealed with His shed blood. With complete certainty, you can declare: “The Lord is on my side” (Psalm 118:6).

When the river rises, it will not sweep you away. When the fire rages, the flames will not scorch you (Isaiah 43:2).  When your world falls apart, even if the mountains crumble into the sea, you have no need to fear when God is your refuge (Psalm 46:1-3). He is always present in troubled times.

Focus first on God’s Word that never returns unfulfilled. His Truth always accomplishes the purposes for which He sends it and always completes the task to which He assigns it. Take Him at His Word.

Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. Know that nothing is impossible for God. He is waiting for you to ask so that He may give the eternal riches of His glory. Receive His blessings through the name of Jesus!

  • New Testament - Matthew 21:23-46
  • Psalms & Proverbs - Psalm 26:1-12, Proverbs 6:16-19

John Hagee (January-31-2024) Daily Devotional: Isaiah 43:18-19  - Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing…

Have you ever known someone who had a great memory of a bad past? He experiences selective amnesia when it comes to the bleaker recollections

After a short while in the wilderness, the Israelites remembered the fleshpots of Egypt where they had eaten their fill of bread and meat (Exodus 16). They complained that God should have killed them there instead of bringing them out to starve.

Those pots that they recalled with such fondness were huge cauldrons filled with leftover animal carcasses discarded by the Egyptians. They remembered the sound of bubbling water, the smell of boiling meat, and the fullness of their bellies. But they forgot the cries of the oppressed, the odor of slave sweat, and the emptiness of lives with no liberty.

In unfamiliar territory, we often long for the familiar. When we cannot see the provision, we yearn for the predictable. Instead of pressing into God, we wish for the seeming safety and familiarity of our yesterdays.

Do not fall back into the old life with its slavery and tears. When pressures loom, press into the promises of God. Instead of retreating into old habits, run to the Deliverer. Do not remember the former things; exercise faith for the future new things. Press in to press on!

Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. Press on to receive the prize to which God is calling us! Accept the blessings of today. Expect the promises for tomorrow. No turning back!

  • New Testament  - Matthew 20:29-21:22
  • Psalms & Proverbs - Psalm 25:12-22, Proverbs 6:12-15

John Hagee (January-18-2024) Daily Devotional: Isaiah 62:1 - For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, And her salvation as a lamp that burns.

In March of 1965, Martin Luther King, Jr. led many civil rights activists in a nonviolent demonstration from Selma to the capitol steps in Montgomery, Alabama. After a 5-day, 54-mile march campaigning for voting rights, King told the crowd, “There never was a moment in American history more honorable and more inspiring than the pilgrimage of clergymen and laymen of every race and faith pouring into Selma to face danger at the side of its embattled [African Americans].”

Linked arm-in-arm with the leaders of this march, front row and center with Dr. King, was a rabbi by the name of Abraham Joshua Heschel. This Hasidic rabbi was born in Warsaw, but ready to take action to support his friend, Martin Luther King, Jr., who was a staunch supporter of Israel and a very outspoken Zionist.

“Peace for Israel means security, and we must stand with all our might to protect its right to exist, its territorial integrity. I see Israel as one of the great outposts of democracy in the world, and a marvelous example of what can be done, how desert land can be transformed into an oasis of brotherhood and democracy. Peace for Israel means security and that security must be a reality. Israel’s right to exist as a state in security is incontestable.”

Today, we honor the memory of a man who stood up for so many…until the day he sacrificed everything for his beliefs. May his memory be a blessing!

Today's Blessing:  Father God, today we ask that You bless the King family. May their continued works for those who suffer wrongdoings be granted favor in your sight. We ask that You bless Israel and the Jewish people. Nothing is hidden from You, Oh God. May their enemies be scattered. We ask that those reading this receive a special blessing from heaven today. May they find comfort in your love, in your mercy and your grace. We thank You for your many blessings today and every day. In Jesus’ name we pray and ask. Amen!

  • Old Testament - Genesis 37:1-38:30
  • New Testament - Matthew 12:22-45
  • Psalms & Proverbs - Psalm 16:1-11, Proverbs 3:27-32

John Hagee (January-17-2024) Daily Devotional: Isaiah 43:19 - Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Our God is a God of new beginnings. Every twenty-four hours, He gives us a brand-new day; every seven days, a new week; every thirty days, a new month; every twelve months, a new year. And it is our prerogative to make sure that we maximize what God gives us every time He gives us the opportunity to do things new. I want to challenge you to unleash the power of God in your life and make a difference in other people’s lives more than ever before. Why every day? Because it’s not your day. Every day is the day that the Lord has made, and we, His children, should rejoice in it.

If you’re going to make a difference today, you have to decide what you will choose to do and not do, what you will choose to say and not say. If you’re going to see God’s greatness poured out in your life, you have to make up your mind that no matter what it takes, no matter what you have to go through, no matter what you have to do, no matter what you have to learn or become, you are going to make a difference.

Today's Blessing:  Heavenly Father, bless us and keep us. Make Your face to shine upon us and be gracious, O Lord, to each and every life here today. Give us strength to know that You walk beside us and that we can do all things through Christ who is our keeper. I ask You, Lord God, that these households of faith experience such a divine explosion of God’s goodness that they will know You make a difference. Today is made and ordained to set captives free, to lift burdens, to destroy yokes, to crown us with loving kindness and make us victorious in Your sight. We receive this blessing and thank You for it in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today's Bible Reading:

  • Old Testament - Genesis 35:1-36:43
  • New Testament - Matthew 12:1-21
  • Psalms & Proverbs - Psalm 15:1-5, Proverbs 3:21-26

John Hagee (January-14-2024) Daily Devotional: Isaiah 55:9 - For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Have you ever compared the difference between the power of God’s words and the emptiness of men’s wisdom? Men want us to live by their supposed wisdom, but the apostle Paul warns “that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God” (1 Corinthians 2:5). Why? Because men’s statements may sound good, but they don’t work.

Here’s one example: “Just follow your heart.” Proverbs 14:12 says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” If you follow your heart but your heart is not filled with the Word of God, you’ll destroy yourself. David said, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105). He was saying,“God, if I don’t stay in close contact with Your truth, I won’t know the right way to go. And if I don’t follow Your light, I’ll go in the wrong direction. If I make it my way and just go by what I feel, I’ll destroy myself. I dare not follow my heart unless Your Word is in my heart, lighting the path of righteousness.”

Build your life on the only wisdom that is certain at all times— God’s Word.

Today's Blessing: And now may the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you, giving you His peace. May the power of the Holy Spirit infuse your heart, soul, mind and body until you become ablaze in the faith of God. Nothing is impossible unto you because of the authority of the Word and the fact that Jesus has paid for your health, your healing, your victory and your deliverance at the cross. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad. The Lord of Hosts has heard your prayer, and the angels of God are bringing the answer in Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • Psalms & Proverbs - Psalm 12:1-8, Proverbs 3:13-15

John Hagee (january-14-2024) Daily Devotional: Isaiah 10:27 - And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing oil.

In today’s verse, Isaiah the prophet brought some exceptionally good news to King Hezekiah.

King Sennacherib of Assyria had set his sights on Judah. He captured her cities, demanded exorbitant tributes, and mocked the God they served. In desperation, King Hezekiah went to the Temple to seek the Lord’s assistance.

God sent a message through Isaiah: He would lift the burden under which Hezekiah bowed. He would destroy the yoke with which King Sennacherib had controlled and crushed them. And He would do so because of the anointing. God honored His anointing, His word, and His purposes.

Satan is the enemy of our souls. He has set his sights on us. He bows us down with burdens and lays heavy yokes across our necks—to steal, kill, and destroy us. But when the enemy comes in like a flood, God raises a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). The anointing destroys the yoke!

The anointing brings the power that mends broken hearts, resurrects dead marriages, restores broken homes, causes barren wombs to bring forth life, brings immovable walls tumbling down, and gathers the wandering to the cross. It lifts every burden and destroys every yoke!

Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May God lift every burden from your shoulders. May His anointing destroy every yoke under which you struggle. You are set free by the power of Jesus Christ!

John Hagee (January-08-2024) Daily Devotional: Isaiah 55:11 - So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

On Wall Street they say, “Money never sleeps.” They want it to be constantly earning money, and to do that after the market closes, they invest their money in another market in the world so that it keeps producing. They want value to be constantly added.

The same principle applies to God’s Word: It never sleeps. It is constantly working in your life. God wants to invest in you so much that He bought you with the great price of His only begotten Son’s life. He is investing His Word in you, and it’s not going to return void. It’s going to accomplish its purpose in changing your life and causing you to prosper and grow. Whatever He has said He will do in your life, He will do it and nothing can stop it. No one can void God’s promises from working in your life. That promise that He’s given you may not show up for a month or a year, but it will come to pass. The apostle Paul said it this way: “He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Be encouraged today: God’s Word is always working.

Today's Blessing: And now may the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you walk in the divine favor of God. May everything that you put your hands to prosper and be blessed of God because you hear. Be it unto me according to Thy Word. And as the Word of God and the will of God synergize in your life, you will know joy that is unspeakable, peace that surpasses all understanding, and accomplishment beyond your wildest expectation in Jesus’ name.
