John Hagee (March-03-2024) Daily Devotional: Job 10:12 - You have granted me life and favor, and Your care has preserved my spirit.

God’s loving favor is better than silver or gold. One day of His favor can undo a lifetime of reversal. Does that sound too optimistic? Consider the story of Joseph.

Joseph was a dreamer – loved by his father and envied by his brothers. One day, they threw him into a pit before selling him to a passing Arab caravan. He became an Egyptian slave in Potiphar’s house. A vicious lie landed him in prison where he continued to hope in God and stay true to the mission before him.

For 12 years, Joseph languished in prison until the Pharaoh summoned him to interpret a dream. In one day, Joseph was promoted from a prisoner to a prince of the most powerful nation on earth.

Joseph’s adversity was the vehicle God used to bless the nation of Israel and to change the course of history. He saved the Gentile world from starvation. After 22 years of separation, he created a home in Goshen for his father and brothers where the nation of Israel was born.

From the pit to Potiphar to prison to the palace – Joseph’s hope was securely placed in God. Remember that the issue you endure may be the instrument God will use to undo a lifetime of reversal for yourself and your family. God’s favor is upon you.

Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. God will take the evil that the enemy has used against you and work it to your good. May His favor rest upon you!

Faith the Facts: Give God A Job! - Jesse Duplantis. NOTHING is too difficult for God! It’s time to give God a job and walk in victory.

John Hagee (February-14-2024) Daily Devotional: Job 37:5 - God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend.

When we see what God does, we should marvel and give Him praise. When was the last time you just stood awestruck at God? It’s one thing when you see the waters of the Red Sea part, and then take the tambourine and dance and praise Him for His wonders. When you see Jericho’s walls fall or Goliath slain, it’s easy to be awestruck by God’s greatness.

But when was the last time you just closed your eyes in your everyday life, took a deep breath, and said, “My God, how great Thou art?” When’s the last time you got up to walk and thanked God that you could move? Or, you used your fingers and thanked God that you had strength? Or, you saw something beautiful and thanked God that He gave you the ability to see it? Or, you heard something wonderful and thanked God that He gave you the ability to hear it? When was the last time you said, “God, life is marvelous in my eyes, the way You’ve created this world, the way You’ve protected me and provided for me, and all the wonderful things that You’ve done?” Now would be a good time!

Today's Blessing:  May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and God Himself give you His peace. May you walk in the confidence that you are heirs with Jesus Christ, knowing that regardless of what the future holds, God holds the future and everything is going to be alright. Walk with the peace and confidence of the Holy Spirit within You, for greater is He that is within you than He who is within the world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

TD Jakes (January-19-2024) Daily Devotional: Holding Onto Integrity: The Lesson of Job.

Bible Quote: "Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him." - Job 13:15

The story of Job stands as a powerful testament to the reality of spiritual warfare and the resilience of human faith. The conversation between God and Satan about Job unveils a profound truth: our earthly lives are often influenced by unseen battles between spiritual forces. Job's life, drastically altered by this divine wager, becomes a landscape of loss and suffering. Yet, amidst this turmoil, Job's unwavering integrity shines as a beacon of hope and resilience.

Job's experience teaches us an invaluable lesson: the true measure of our faith is not in what we possess but in what we retain when everything else is stripped away. Despite losing his wealth, his family, his health, and his social standing, Job clings to his integrity and his faith in God. This unshakable commitment serves as a profound example for us all.

In times of hardship, when we feel overwhelmed by the storms of life, let Job's story remind us of the importance of holding onto our core values and beliefs. Our integrity, our 'wheatness,' is what defines us, not our circumstances. Even in the midst of loss and suffering, there is a promise of restoration and revival. As Job rose from his ashes, so too can we emerge from our trials, stronger and more faithful than before.

Let us pray: Heavenly Father, in our moments of trial and loss, remind us of the enduring example of Job. Help us to hold onto our integrity and faith in You, even when everything else seems to fall away. Grant us the strength to weather the storms of life, keeping our focus on You and the promise of Your faithfulness. Teach us to trust in Your plan, knowing that, like Job, we can rise again from our struggles, purified and renewed in spirit. In the name of Jesus, who is our rock and redeemer, we pray, Amen.

John Hagee (December-03-2023) Daily Devotion: Job 36:22-24 - Behold, God is exalted by His power; who teaches like Him? Who has assigned Him His way, or who has said, ‘You have done wrong?’ Remember to magnify His work, of which men have sung.

When we consider only the things that we know, our expertise limits our expectations. We fail to account for a sovereign God Who knows all things.

He understands things that we have not even considered. Not only does He know about our current needs, He was aware of them before we even knew they existed. When we bring our request to Him, He already knows how He will solve it.

Yet, we often argue His answer. We tell Him how to figure out what He has already solved. If His response does not look like we expected, we accuse Him of doing wrong. Wouldn’t it be wiser to trust in a God Who can accomplish much more than our expertise leads us to expect?

If we had relied on our expertise, Mary would not have experienced a virgin birth. Jesus would have never fed 5000 with a few fish and loaves. Lazarus would have remained in a tomb. The way of the cross would not have led to redemption. Death would not have given way to victorious, overcoming life.

In our expert opinion, none of that makes sense! None of that should have happened. But God specializes in the unexpected, and we can trust in His right way.

Today's Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. Trust in Jesus. Do not lean on your own expertise. Believe in His better way!

John Hagee (November-13-2023) Daily Devotion: Job 1:21 - And [Job] said: ‘Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord’.

Human nature struggles to believe that joy can exist alongside trials. Our senses and emotions live in the temporal right now, but Jesus asks us to stretch to an eternal perspective.

All that He said and did was in light of eternity. When we recognize that “our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,” we can count it all joy (II Corinthians 4:17)!

We can lift our eyes above the natural to start seeing it God’s way. And if we cannot fully grasp it yet, we can trust in a God Who is unfailingly faithful.

That is how Job survived his season of devastation. Everything that he had – his children, fortune, and health – were snatched away. His friends were no comfort, and his wife urged him to curse God and die.

In his greatest tragedy, he still responded with praise. He could not comprehend God’s generosity. He did not understand why He mysteriously took away everything He had given. But he blessed His name anyway.

When we face our darkest day, we can take joy in the fact that God blessed our yesterdays, He blesses this moment, and the blessings of tomorrow are beyond our comprehension.

Today's Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May God turn your despair into dancing and your silence into song. Blessed be the name of the Lord!

John Hagee (October-30-2023) Daily Devotional: Job 23:12 - I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.

Pastor John Hagee once told his son, Pastor Matt: “If you’ll take the time to dig into God’s Word and tell others what He says, they’ll come from all over the world to hear you. But if all you do is tell them what you say, they won’t cross the street to listen.”

While most of us will not become internationally-known ministers, the wisdom in these words applies to us, too. This world is perishing for a lack of knowledge. They have rejected God’s laws and are reaping the painful consequences of living outside of His will.

People need to hear the Word of God – not the latest self-help advice, psychological diagnoses, or our well wishes. So many are floundering – and even falling – because they have failed to get the Word into themselves.

Job said that he treasured God’s words more than his necessary food; they sustained, nourished, and gave life to his faith walk. There, he found strength to persevere.

Take time to read it, memorize it, meditate on it. Dig in! We may not have silver or gold, but we can share the riches of God with others. Out of the storehouse in our hearts, we can give the life and love found in Jesus alone.

Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you hide the Word of God in your heart and share it with everyone that you meet. His Word is life and light to a darkened world!

John Hagee (October-04-2023) Daily Devotion: Job 31:6  Let me be weighed on honest scales, that God may know my integrity

Scales measure true value. When an object is placed on one side of a scale, an equal amount of weight must be put on the other to strike a precise balance between the two. We want the scales we use to be fair, balanced, and accurate.

In Genesis 23, Abraham meted out 400 shekels of silver to purchase a burial cave for his wife, Sarah. A shekel was not a coin; it was a unit of measure. Abraham piled silver on one side of the scale, and the owner placed 400 shekels – weights – on the other side. Only when the two sides came into balance was the deal struck. A balanced scale ensured every person was treated fairly and given equal consideration.

When perfect balance was achieved, the individual doing the weighing would say, “All things created equal, this scale is balanced.” As long as all aspects of the exchange remained exactly the same and nothing unexpected happened, the deal was equitable for all involved.

In a world that changes from minute to minute, we still long to know justice and the value that we carry. While the world weighs and finds us wanting, we trust in the accurate and honest measure in the hands of our loving Creator.

Today's Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. Jesus weighed you on His righteous scales and found you so valuable that He died to give you life. When the world rejects you, His arms are open wide. May that truth come alive in you today!
