John MacArthur (March-18-2024) Daily Devotional: Praying for Christ's Rule "Thy kingdom come" (Matt. 6:10). When you pray, “Thy kingdom come,” you are praying for Christ to reign on earth as He already does in Heaven. When we hear the word kingdom we tend to think of medieval castles, kings, knights,…
John MacArthur (March-17-2024) Daily Devotional: Displaying God's Holiness "Hallowed be Thy name" (Matt. 6:9). Sound theology that results in holy living hallows God’s name. We have learned that hallowing God's name requires setting it apart from everything common, and giving Him first place in our lives. That starts with believing…
John MacArthur (March-16-2024) Daily Devotional: Hallowing God's Name "Hallowed be Thy name" (Matt. 6:9). God is holy and deserves your highest respect and your humble obedience. To most people the word hallowed elicits thoughts of Halloween, ivy-covered walls, or starchy religious traditions. But those are all far from its biblical…
Putting God First - John MacArthur Daily Devotional (March-15-2024). "Hallowed be Thy name" (Matt. 6:9). Prayer should always exalt God. John MacArthur (March-14-2024) Daily Devotional: Looking Beyond the Temporal "Our Father who art in heaven" (Matt. 6:9). With God as your Father, your life has eternal significance. Author H.G. JOHN MACARTHUR DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Have you really had time to study the Word of God? What has the Bible got to say about daily devotions? The Bible says “ All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” There is therefore the need to set aside a time and devote it to God in study of the Word of God and prayer. Christianity is not a religion but dimension of God's life that should be lived right here on earth. To fully live to the potential of this life, you must live by the principles of the giver of this life. And one of the principles is a daily walk with God. It is not just easy to walk daily with God but the Holy Spirit gives us guide and help.

The word of God says, “ "Like newborn babes, long for the pure milk of the word, that by it you may grow in respect to salvation." 1 Peter 2:2It's a fact of life: our health declines if we don't nourish our bodies every day with food and water. That's true physically. It's true spiritually as well. If we neglect to regularly feed our souls on the Holy Scriptures, our faith becomes weak and we start to lose touch with our Savior. Growth is stifled... if it happens at all. The daily devotions by Pastor John Macarthur in combination with his written books is making an impact globally.
