Joel Osteen (March 5, 2024) Daily Devotional: The Faith to Believe.

Today's Scripture: I had not told anyone what my God had put in my heart to do for Jerusalem. Nehemiah 2:12, NIV

Today's Word: when Nehemiah heard that the walls and gates of Jerusalem had been torn down, there was nothing he could do about it. He was a cupbearer to the king of Persia, living in exile a thousand miles away. But suddenly God dropped a desire in Nehemiah to rebuild those walls. It didn’t make sense to his mind. He didn’t have the staff, the resources, or the experience. But with the desire came a new boldness, a confidence, the faith to believe for what seemed impossible. He went to the king, and amazingly the king not only sent Nehemiah but supplied him the materials and funds to do it.

Notice that God not only puts desires in you, but He puts the favor on you so you can see that desire come to pass. When it’s a destiny desire, there’s a force breathing in your direction, pushing you forward, opening doors, causing people to be good to you. You’re not stressed over how it’s going to happen; you know it’s going to happen. Get ready for where God is about to take you.

Prayer for Today: “Father, thank You that You never give me the desire to do something without the power and favor to do it. Thank You that I don’t have to make it all happen on my own or manipulate people to help me. I’m going to keep You first place and watch You work out Your plans for my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Matt Hagee - Watch Sunday Sermon: Desperate Enough to Believe. Desperation comes in many forms. Don’t condemn someone else for how they react. The woman with the issue of blood was known by her condition, and desperate for a change. What was her response? In faith, she reached out and touched the hem of his garment.

Daily Devotional (February-02-2024) BELIEVE YOU CAN.

Scripture Reference: "Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, "Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it" (Num. 13:30).

From our text today, Moses was instructed by God to send out twelve men, one from each tribe, to go and spy the land of Canaan in order to be convinced it was a good land and further strengthen their faith in His promise take over the land from its Aborigines who were wicked men. Sadly, ten of the spies brought a negative, very discouraging and very disturbing report that although it was a good land, its inhabitants were too powerful for them to defeat, that the inhabitants were giants while they themselves were grasshoppers, that it was a land that devoured its inhabitants, and finally, "We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we"(Num. 13:31). Their report was borne out of unbelief and fear, which God hates, and which have the psychological consequences of discouragement and being demoralized, to themselves and their audience.

Positive confession is a psychological boost to the mind which brings Courage, intrepidity, resilience, indomitability, irrepressibility and victory over challenges of life. Negative confessions bring defeat, failure, stagnation, wandering about in life without making progress, barrenness, sicknesses, and even death (Prov 18:21). Please, avoid it, even when you are joking. Let us confess, "We are able". "l am able". "We can". "I can."

To overcome the ploy of Satan, Christians should study and fill their hearts with the Word of God to boost their faith. They should live righteously, pray effectively and keep the right company with people of faith like Caleb and Joshua who spoke positively based on God's word, that we are able to handle such situations very successfully. We mustn't see Satan and his cohorts as being superior to us. No examination or subject should be seen as too difficult for us to pass in flying colours. No battle must be seen as too tough to win, if we are sure of being in God's perfect will.

PRAYER - Lord, help me to avoid unbelief and negative confessions.

John Hagee Sermon: I Believe in Miracles.

Pastor Hagee tells us, “I don’t believe in miracles because someone told me about them. I believe in miracles because I have personally experienced them for more than 58 years in the ministry. I know that by experience, when you meet God’s conditions, He performs. He will act according to his Word.” Are you ready for a miracle in your life? Do you need physical or emotional healing? Are your finances in disarray? Do you have broken relationships that need to be mended, or a heart that is shattered after years of abuse? Our God is still in the healing business, and He is ready, willing and able to touch that which concerns you most.

Daily Devotional (January-17-2024) Believing is seeing.

1 Peter 1: 8-16 - 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory; 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: 11 searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. 12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into 13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

A lot of people all over the world say a lot of things that really makes living as Christian very difficult for them. They say things like, “seeing is believing, Evidence is the truth.” In a natural sense, these sayings appear to be so true.
In our opening verse, Peter said " Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory". In the things of God, seeing is not believing and seeing can never be believing. Do you know why? Because Jesus Christ in his days on earth walk among men and spoke as God on earth, did many signs and wonders yet he was crucified.

I want to tell you something this morning that, the length, the magnitude, the prove of your glory in time and in eternity is not buried in things which are seen but in the things which are not seen.
The bible said, God create the visible world from the invisible world. Beloveth, in the things of God, we believe to see. We don't look for evidence as the truth, we have the truth as evidence Praise God!

Stop trying to see that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe that he is Lord so that you can see His Lordship. Stop trying to see eternal life and believe in eternal life then will you see eternity in you. Stop seeing your hard work and believe in God's provision. I believed in God and he showed himself to me. Amen.

Have a good day remembering that, in Christianity, believing is seeing and we have the truth as evidence.
