  No.
  It has not even allowed Catholics to read the Bible w/o their Priests interpretation. My personal experience in the 60’s. They denied God’s Word which clearly tells readers (John 14-17) believers were given the Holy Spirit to lead them into all Truth.
  The Catholic Church added to The Scriptures which is in direct contradiction to The Bible.

  The Lord told us that man would pervert the word of God and mankind was doing that right after his death. Even those trying to do their best recorded what they thought made it the best not so much what it was which is one of the great things about Matthew, Matthew walked right with the Lord and wrote down the things that happened as they happened. So many things in the Bible that the Lord said and that was said by those who tried their best to relate their love for the Lord and who they thought the Lord was, But I think it's best just to agree about the Catholic churches. To this day I have yet to find a church that was being taught the very simple truth about the Lord about our God about who we're supposed to be for each other and how we're supposed to be with the world anyway you have a blessed day.
