I can relate to those losses, Pricilla.
One brother, Algernon, passed in October, 2024. Another, Timothy, in November. My nephew, Carris, the son of Timothy, while driving to his uncle Algernon's funeral on Sat Nov 16, had a massive heart attack and passed away before he reached the hospital. The family is currently planning a double funeral- Father and son, probably to be held on Dec 14, 2024. Pray for us in the US & British Virgin Islands. It is only the multiplied peace and grace of God that have me, a very senior member of the family, up and about and able to help with the arrangements.
It is indeed shocking, the passing of my nephew at 55. My brothers already had their 3-score-and-ten and we expected theirs. However, like Job we say, 'The Lord gave, the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord, and like Joshua: 'As for me and my house, we still serve the Lord'... amidst the water, the fire and the flood, the blood of Christ covers and strengthens me, us.
Thank you for your sermons Pricilla. I watch and listen whenever I can. They are a great blessing to me. What a mighty God we serve!

Priscilla Shirer (born December 31, 1974) is an American author, motivational speaker, actress, Christian evangelist. Her father is Dallas mega-church pastor Tony Evans and her brother is Christian entertainer Anthony Evans. he daughter of Tony Evans, senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church in Dallas, Texas, Priscilla grew up well acquainted with the Bible. As a freshman at the University of Houston, she interned with a Christian radio station. Soon listeners were calling the station, inviting Priscilla to speak at their Bible study groups and other events. Soon she was invited to lead a weekly Bible study at the Zig Ziglar Corporation and then to join its speaker team. Priscilla has worked as an independent contractor for CBS and hosted a local television show, but recently she has focused solely on Christian ministry opportunities.
