Joyse Meyer - Sermon: How Can I Transform My Life?  This time on Everyday Answers, Joyce answers the questions How Can I Transform My Life?

Jack Hibbs (November-13-2023) Weekly Devotional: TRANSFORMED.

2 Corinthians 3:18 - “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

Transformed is an incredible word. In the Greek language, it suggests that a thorough and dramatic change has taken place. The believer’s transformation begins at salvation, but the fantastic truth is that it keeps going when we immerse ourselves in God’s Word.

Immersion produces unbelievable results. I know this because I met a soldier on his way to a renowned language school operated by the U.S. military. His covert assignment required him to blend into a foreign region without detection by learning the native language, dialect, and customs—a feat that required total immersion. Not a word of his native tongue would be spoken or written by the instructor as he learned the language and ways of another country. That soldier knew he would come out of his studies changed.

In a biblical sense, the apostle Peter was a lot like that soldier. His transformation into a deep-thinking, courageous defender of the faith came through immersion in the Scriptures, year after year. Peter went from glory to glory, and the uneducated Galilean fisherman eventually penned the technical and theologically profound book of 2nd Peter. God’s Word, energized by the Spirit, can do that when it gets inside a person.

Dear saint, when you accepted Jesus, a tremendous change occurred, and the course of your life changed. By God’s design, you are not and never will be, the same. I encourage you to submerge yourself in the Bible and watch how the Spirit transforms your life.

Transformed - Joel Osteen Daily Devotional | August-06-2023. Ephesians 4:23–24, NIV ...to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Today’s Word Your life follows your thoughts. If your thoughts have been running in a negative pattern for year after year, it's as though they've dug a deep riverbed that flows in only one direction. With every pessimistic thought, the riverbed is a bit deeper and the current stronger. Fortunately, we can dig a new river, one going in a positive direction. When you start to dwell on God's Word and see the best in situations, you are redirecting the flow of that river one thought at a time. As you reject negative thoughts and redirect the flow, as you choose faith instead of fear, expecting good things, that negative stream will dwindle and the positive river will flow with faith-filled thoughts of victory.

Keep in mind that the river of negativity wasn't formed overnight, nor will it be redirected without some conscious, strenuous effort on your part. God will help you. Start expecting good things. Stay full of faith, full of joy, full of hope. If you transform your thinking, God will transform your life.

Prayer for Today. Father, thank You that it is possible for me to enter into the flow of positive, faith-filled thoughts of victory. Thank You that I can reject negative thoughts and choose faith over fear. I believe that as I dwell on Your Word that my mind will be renewed and my life will be transformed. In Jesus' Name, Amen

Joel Osteen (February-06-2022) Daily Devotion: Being Transformed.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory… 2 Corinthians 3:18, NKJV

TODAY'S WORD: Too many people are so focused on their flaws, weaknesses, and mistakes they’ve made in the past that they are unhappy with who they are now. If you feel guilty and condemned that you’re not further along, that’s going to hold you back from growing. Quit taking inventory of all your faults. You may have a lot wrong with you, but you have a lot right with you.

The key is to learn to accept yourself while you’re in the process of “being transformed from glory to glory.” You may not realize it, but you’re in a phase of glory right now. Learn to enjoy the glory that you’re in while God is changing you and taking you to the next level of glory. You have to start accepting yourself right where you are, faults and all. You are not a finished product. God is the Potter, and you are the clay. He is still working on you.

PRAYER FOR TODAY: “Father, thank You that my life is in Your hands—not just my dreams and goals, but my weaknesses and shortcomings. Thank You for the promise that You are transforming me from glory to glory. I believe that You are working right now to lift me to another level of glory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Victoria Osteen - Sermon: Be Transformed (Renew Your Mind). Many of us want to move forward into the new things that God has for us, but the more time goes by, the easier it is to feel like we’re just waiting on God. The waiting period can be a time of preparation and transformation so when those new opportunities come we have the right mindset. The best way to transform and renew our mind is to study God’s Word.

Joel Osteen (October-18-2021) Daily Devotion: Be Transformed.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2, NIV

TODAY'S WORD: In the original Bible language, the word “transform” is "metamorpho." It’s where we get our word “metamorphose.” When a caterpillar changes from a little worm-like larva into a beautiful butterfly, it is called metamorphosis. The caterpillar starts out as possibly one of the most unattractive insects. It’s very plain, nothing special about it. But God destined the caterpillar to go through a transformation. It goes from being one of the most ordinary creatures to one of the most beautiful, colorful and graceful. Instead of having to crawl on the ground, it can now fly to wherever it wants to go.

Paul is saying that if you’ll get your thoughts going in the right direction and not dwell on negative, condemning, “not able to” thoughts, and program your mind with what God says about you, then a transformation will take place. The only way to release your butterfly is to get your thinking in line with God’s Word. If you will keep renewing your mind and agreeing with what God says about you, it’s just a matter of time before that transformed person comes out. When your thoughts are better, your life will be better.

PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for the work You are doing in my life. I surrender every part of my being to You. Thank You for transforming me as I keep my heart and mind stayed on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.
