October 10 2024 posted by Rosalio F. Salinas,JR Good Morning , I have a question. I am studying this week sermon. The sermon entails about Divine Law. In Romans 7:6 It reads we were delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. The Apostle Paul keeps speaking about the Law of God and the Law of Sin in Romans 7:25. However in Galatians 5:18 it reads "But if ye be led by the spirit, ye are not under the law. So here Paul i speaking about the law of Sin or Flesh not the Divine Law of God ? How doe this affect the Ten Commandments?

Tony Evans (born 1949), Th.D, is a Christian pastor, speaker, author, and a widely syndicated radio and television broadcaster in the United States. He is the first African American to earn a doctorate in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He taught evangelism, homiletics and black church studies at DTS, and serves on its Board of Incorporate Members.
