Watch Bill Johnson Sermon: Kingdom Transformation.

Bill Johnson Sermon - There Is a Battle for Your Memories. Bill Johnson warns of the battle for your memories. The devil works hard to remind you of the things that didn’t work out and what God didn’t do, but Scripture urges you to “forget not His benefits”. Remembering the testimonies of what God has done is more than just bringing them to mind. Remembering what God has done is supposed to affect your perspective and how you see. If you experience a financial miracle and then face another financial challenge, that miracle is supposed to affect how you face the next challenge and establish your hope in the One who provides. Fight to protect the memories of what God has done for you - let them shape how you think and see, and live with steadfast hope that comes from your confidence in God.

Watch Bill Johnson Devotional: God Designed You for Joy.

Bill Johnson talks about God’s design for you to be filled with joy. Teaching from Proverbs 15, Bill shares wisdom on how to maintain a happy heart. God designed you for joy, but your level of happiness is often directly connected to your speech and the words you choose to speak. Joy and health are connected, and both are highlighted in Proverbs as being a product of what you say and declare over yourself and others. Learn how the power of your words are affecting your health and happiness.

Watch Bill Johnson Sermon: How to Maintain Peace and Avoid Stress and Anxiety. Bill Johnson talks about how to maintain peace and avoid stress and anxiety in this busy world. As believers, peace is our inheritance. More than a feeling or vague sense, peace is actually a person; the Person of God. If you are not walking in peace, ask yourself “Where did I leave my peace?”. Bill teaches how to find and maintain a sense of peace, even in the midst of the busyness of life. Maintaining peace helps to guard your ability to hear God’s voice.

Bill Johnson Sermon - ‘My Heart Burns for You’, Living Aware of the Presence of God. Bill Johnson talks about how to cultivate a burning heart of affection for the Lord and His Presence. As we learn to live aware of the Presence of God, we realize that everything comes from this place, and He becomes our home. Cultivating a heart of affection for the Lord is what keeps our heart tender towards Him and able to recognize Him.

Watch Bill Johnson: More Than a Job: How God Sees Your Work. Bill Johnson teaches from Proverbs 11 and how God sees your work. Your employment is more than just a job; your work is worship unto the Lord and He sees it as such. Proverbs 11 teaches on the impact of righteous people on a city. When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices. As the children of God embrace what He has put in their hands, God counts their work as generosity. It contributes to the health and resource of a city, and the city prospers.

Watch Bill Johnson: The Renewed Mind: Transform the Way You Think, Bill Johnson teaches on the renewed mind and how to transform the way you think. Faith doesn’t come from the mind, but the renewed mind creates a context for faith, much like the banks of a river. The un-renewed mind is hostile towards God, but the renewed mind actually partners through faith with God’s plans and purposes in the earth; on earth as it is in heaven. Renewing our mind to the mind of Christ transforms how we think and see, positioning us to see from Heaven’s perspective. As we learn in Romans 12: 2, the renewed mind proves the will of God.

Watch Bill Johnson: Living From Encounter.

Watch Bill Johnson: The Purpose of Authority and God's Value for Justice. Bill Johnson talks about the purpose of authority and God’s value for justice. As sons and daughters of God, we have been given authority and favor. Authority and favor are to be used for the benefit of others. The Queen of Sheba recognized the favor of God on King Solomon “because of God’s love for Israel”. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of God’s throne (Psalm 97: 2), and contending for justice is a huge part of what it means to exercise the authority God has given to us. Jesus came to set captives and prisoners free, and now we are called to do the same.

Popular sermons online

As the concept suggests, a preacher is one who practices the art of preaching. The word "preaching" is originally associated with the religious sphere of activity. Language researchers note that of all religious texts, this word - like the type of activity itself - is most closely associated with Christianity. Preachers teach Bible truths when speaking to believers or unbelievers.

Most of the Bible's sermons are in the New Testament. The sermon, as we find it in the Book of Acts and the Epistles, is expressive, but at the same time brief. It is built on the fundamental truths of Christianity: the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The preaching of the Church, in whatever form it is delivered - be it an ardent call to repentance for sins and salvation or the gospel story of a relationship with God and people - is by nature Christocentric.

Christian online preaching isn’t just a statement of spiritual truths, but as a sacred act, during which the preacher, in cooperation with the Lord the Holy Spirit, accomplishes the work of salvation for unbelieving listeners and the process of spiritual growth for the saved. Words spoken by a person cannot strengthen faith, but the biblical sermon in the mouths of preachers has a special power that can transform a person's soul. It is on this supernatural power of preaching that the preacher's authority is established.

Despite the fact that the evangelical Church teaches about the priesthood of every born-again Christian, in the work of biblical preaching, special attention is paid to the character and moral character of the preacher. The moral right to proclaim eternal biblical truths, to preach the Gospel from the pulpit or in another setting on behalf of the Church, can not only be those who know these truths, but who have Christian virtues, a character that reflects Christ. We are talking about a person who sincerely loves God and the people to whom he addresses, deeply interested in the eternal and earthly well-being of his listeners. A person with the good name of a Christian, who has a "good testimony" confirmed by time and the Church. Since we are talking about eternal, enduring truths, the writing of which was inspired by the holy God, proclaim them on behalf of the Author, i.e. of God Himself, it is permissible for the one who knows Him personally, has constant communion with Him and obeys Him implicitly. From the point of view of the essence and basis of the message that he proclaims, the preacher is not the author of his message and therefore doesn’t have the right to change the truths being proclaimed. He represents the interests and fulfills the will of the One who authorized him for this with the authority of His glorious name, and, therefore, the preacher is obliged to accurately convey to his audience what was entrusted to him by God. Freely interpreting Scripture and presenting to the audience their own interpretation of eternal biblical truths, posing as God's revelation on behalf of God, is not only a distortion of the truth, but also an ethical violation that entails consequences. However, in the sermon, it is not forbidden to mention personal experience, as well as the experience of other people, examples from various areas of public life to the extent that these examples correspond to the truth and contribute to a more accurate and understandable message of it.

Of course, in the modern world, taking into account the development of communications, a preacher is expected to possess the skills of oratory. This is not a strict requirement, but it is always encouraged, as it is an undeniable advantage and serves the greater benefit and success of the preaching work.

There are many preachers in modern Christianity who have achieved recognized success in the preaching work.
