Be a Blessing - Joel Osteen Daily Devotional (June-23-2022)
Joel Osteen (June-23-2022) Daily Devotional: Be a Blessing
Today’s Scripture: Proverbs 3:27, NIV - Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.
Today’s Word: Today's Scripture says that when you know you can be a blessing, when you have the resources to help a person in need, or when you can teach them the skills you've learned, don't put it off. You may think, "I can't help them. I have to focus on fixing my own problems." But when you make sacrifices to help other people's dreams come to pass, God will always help make your dream come to pass. As you bless others and show them favor, God is going to bless and favor you.
Don't live focused only on yourself--your problems, your sickness, your trouble at work. Go and be a blessing to someone in need. Sow a seed with your finances or a word of encouragement. Go visit your coworker who's in the hospital and pray for them. Call your friend and speak faith into their dreams. Take your elderly neighbor an evening meal. When you help solve their problems, you're setting a miracle in motion for yourself, and God is going to solve your problems.
Prayer for Today: Father, thank You for what You've brought me through that I can now use to help others to solve their problems. Thank You that I have something to give, some blessing to impart, to help make their dreams come true. I believe You will also make my dreams come to pass. In Jesus' Name, Amen
Passing On God's Blessings - Charles Stanley Weekly Saturday sermon June-18-2022
Dr. Charles Stanley Weekly Saturday sermon: Passing On God's Blessings (June-18-2022) In Touch Ministries. Are you a giver or a taker? In tough economic times, we tend to be selfish with our resources. Dr. Stanley shares with us the truth behind the principle Jesus showed us here on earth, "God blesses us so that we might bless others." Jesus stressed that caring for the needs of others was more important than storing wealth for our own use. Will you freely share the blessings God has given you, trusting Him to provide for all of your needs?
Bearing a Blessing - David Jeremiah Daily Devotional (May-30-2022)
David Jeremiah (May-30-2022) Daily Devotional: Bearing a Blessing
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7
Recommended Reading: Ephesians 6:15 - and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
When King David’s armies were victorious, a messenger was sent to bring the good news of victory to the king (2 Samuel 18:26). This was common practice in the ancient Near East—a messenger bringing good news. The prophet Isaiah foresaw just a messenger coming to announce the return of God’s people from exile in Babylon (Isaiah 52:7). And the apostle Paul picked up this image when he described the spiritual armor of the believer: feet ready to bring and proclaim the Good News of the Gospel of Christ.
Which do we consider more “beautiful”—the messenger who brings good news or the one who brings bad news? Even when bad news is truth, we would much rather see arriving a messenger who we believe is bearing good news and glad tidings. So it is with the one who brings the “gospel of peace” (Ephesians 6:15). What a blessing he or she is! What a blessing such news is!
Every Christian can be a bearer of Good News in a world that so desperately needs it.

Blessing and Glory - David Jeremiah Daily Devotional (May-12-2022)
David Jeremiah (May-12-2022) Daily Devotional: Blessing and Glory
Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. - Titus 2:13
Recommended Reading: Revelation 19:11-16 - 11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
The Christian Church has various ways of celebrating Epiphany (“appearing”). Some branches assign Epiphany to the coming of the Magi to worship Jesus, marking His appearance to the Gentile world. Others designate Epiphany as marking the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist, signifying the first public appearance of Jesus. Epiphany can also refer to the Christmas season that marks the appearance of Jesus to humanity.
Epiphany occurs in Greek six times: Once it refers to the birth of Christ—His first appearance—and the remainder of the uses refer to His Second Coming. Most descriptive of the verses referring to His Second Coming is Titus 2:13: “blessed hope and glorious appearing.” Christ’s Second Coming will be both a blessed and a glorious event. It will be blessed because it fulfills the “sure and steadfast” hope (Hebrews 6:19) we have in Christ. And it will be glorious because He will be revealed as “King of kings and Lord of lords” (Revelation 19:16).
Are you looking for the “blessed hope and glorious appearing” of Christ? In Him will our longings and desires be fulfilled.
The only revelation from God which Christians still await is the revelation of Jesus Christ at His second coming. - Geoffrey B. Wilson
A Second Chance at a Blessing - Bishop T.D. Jakes
Bishop T.D. Jakes - Watch Sermon: A Second Chance at a Blessing. We need a do-over. When we make massive decisions, we must be ready for unintended consequences, and sometimes those around us can still be angry at us. But God sees our guilt and gives us a second chance to make it right. He did it when He sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross, and He will send it again if we let go of our negative past and accept Jesus’ beautiful future. This is your new beginning!
