TD Jakes (March 15, 2024) Daily Devotional: The Unconventional Paths of Blessing.
Bible Quote: "The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just." - Proverbs 13:22
Oh, beloved, let me speak to your heart today, echoing the profound truths that resonate through the corridors of time and scripture. God moves in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. It's a divine strategy, not confined to the four walls of our expectations nor limited to the circles of the righteous alone. God's grace, His blessings, and His plans for your life often find their way to you through the most unexpected vessels.
Consider the story of Rahab, a name etched in the annals of faith not for her virtue but for her bold faith in the God of Israel. Rahab, a prostitute, became a pivotal figure in the salvation story, hiding the spies and securing her place and her family's place in the lineage of faith. It wasn't within the polished courts of the temple that this act of faith occurred, but within the walls of a sinner's abode.
God is not looking for the perfect setting or the perfect people to enact His will. He is searching for availability, for hearts open to His calling, no matter their past. The Lord uses the unlikely, the overlooked, the discounted, and yes, even the sinners to unfold His divine plans. Your blessing may not always come from where you expect—wrapped in holiness and tied with a bow of righteousness. Often, it's delivered through the hands of those you least expect, from places you've been taught to question.
We mustn't become so heavenly minded that we lose the earthly good of understanding and compassion. Jesus, our perfect example, associated with tax collectors, sinners, and the marginalized. He showed us that divine love transcends societal boundaries, that grace is not limited to the pews of the church but is abundant in the alleys and byways of life.
Let us not be quick to judge, to turn up our noses at those the world deems unworthy. For in doing so, we may very well be turning away from the very conduits of blessing God has ordained for us. Embrace the wisdom of seeing beyond the external, recognizing that God's ways are higher than our ways, His thoughts higher than our thoughts.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we come before You with open hearts, asking for the grace to see Your hand at work in all things and through all people. Help us to embrace Your unexpected vessels of blessing, to look beyond our prejudices and preconceptions, and to recognize Your divine purpose in every encounter. May we never limit Your boundless grace to our limited understanding. Guide us in love, humility, and wisdom, as we navigate this world, following in the footsteps of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Joel Osteen (March-15-2024) Daily Devotional: Spoken Blessings - Today's Inspiration Word.
Today's Scripture: Isaiah 61:1–2, NIV - The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me…to proclaim good news to the poor…to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives…to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor.
Today's Word: Words are powerful. They have the ability to set the direction for our lives. When they’re spoken over us by someone who has authority, such as a parent, a coach, or a mentor, they can determine our destiny. The reason some people aren’t reaching their potential is they’ve never had blessings spoken over them. They’ve never had anyone declare what they can become, who God says they are, and how they have seeds of greatness. In today’s Scripture, the prophet Isaiah went around declaring God’s favor, freedom, and victory. He says that all those who would receive this declaration, those who would let these words take root, would see it come to pass.
Hundreds of years later, Jesus read this same declaration to the people in the synagogue in Nazareth. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me to declare…” Jesus declares victory, abundance, healing, and freedom over you. If you receive it, He will put you on a path to greater joy, better health, stronger relationships, to new levels of your destiny.
Prayer for Today: Father, thank You that the power of Your declared blessing and favor over my life overrides any negative declarations that others have made about me. Thank You that I can receive Your favor, freedom, and victory. I believe You’re setting me on the best path for my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Jentezen Franklin (March 5, 2024) Daily Devotional: God Wants To Bless You.
“Stay on the path that the Lord your God has commanded you to follow. Then you will live long and prosperous lives in the land…” Deuteronomy 5:33
Your Heavenly Father wants to bless your life. Psalms 35:27 says, “Let them shout for joy and be glad who favor my righteous cause: Let them say continually, ‘Let the Lord be magnified who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.’”
One of the first ways to experience the wonderful blessings of God is to care about the same things He cares about. When you “favor his righteous cause” by helping the poor and oppressed, you are preparing for God’s blessings. Being compassionate and becoming focused on others brings joy to your life.
Notice the verse didn’t say, “I take pleasure in their poverty.” God doesn’t take pleasure in watching you barely get by. He smiles when His children prosper. He is interested in every detail of your life, and He greatly cares about your house payment, savings account, and college fund. Believe and be fully persuaded that God wants you to thrive in life. He does not have a problem with blessing His children.
God took “pleasure in the prosperity” of Abraham in Genesis 31:1. Abraham was very rich in livestock, silver, and gold. The Bible says that he reaped and sowed in a time of famine and yielded one hundredfold! His family was also greatly blessed for many generations. Abraham was a friend of God, and he experienced a life of favor and blessing.
Fortunately, you are also a friend of God. Galatians 3 says, “If you be in Christ, you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.” God wants you to win in life. He doesn’t want you to struggle your entire life, barely making ends meet.
Trust God with your giving and love His causes. Don’t settle for where you are right now; reach out and dream big dreams. One day, you may be able to buy the company, own your own home, or advance in your career in an astonishing way. Be faithful to work with excellence and manage wisely what you currently have because God is delighted to bless you beyond measure.

Charles Stanley (March 4, 2024) Daily Devotional: Blessed to Bless Others.
When we make giving a priority, God's grace overflows in our life.
2 Corinthians 9:6-15 - Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed; as it is written, ``HE SCATTERED ABROAD, HE GAVE TO THE POOR, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURES FOREVER." Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness; you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God. For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God. Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all, while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
God’s blessings to us aren’t meant to end with us. His desire is that they filter down to others. This principle applies in all areas of our life, including finances. Did you know that our heavenly Father has plans for our money?
The Lord supplies us with income so we can provide for our needs and, often, our wants. But He also wants us to use our money to achieve His plans. And one of His goals is that we share our resources with others. If we purpose in our hearts to participate in His plans, He commits to provide all we need.
Just look at His extravagant promise in verse 8 of today’s passage: “And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.” This encouraging scripture is a good reminder that when we share blessings with others, God promises to enrich us in response to our generosity. In other words, He will increase the harvest of our righteousness.
A hoarded blessing isn’t enjoyed as richly as a shared one. Using your gift to meet someone else’s need glorifies God by demonstrating His grace at work in your life. Don’t let His generous provisions end with you. Pass them on and discover the joy of a never-ending cycle of blessings.
