Galatians 5:1 - “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”
Liberty can be defined as the quality or state of being free. Today, our scripture says, Christ has truly made us free: then keep your free condition and let no man put a yoke on you again. From the scripture, we can speak of three things that determines a man’s state of Liberty.
The first impression we get is, our Lord Jesus Christ has made us free and has become liberty ( freedom) unto us. Meaning He has given us some dimension of freedom.
The second impression from the same scripture is that, Man has a responsibility to stand fast in the Liberty wherefore Christ has provided him with. This is to say, man has a responsibility to hold on to freedom even as Christ perfect's it.
The third impression we get from the same scripture is that, There is something call “THE YOKE OF BONDAGE” where man was in at a point in time, freed by Christ but can go into it again when he fails to hold onto the freedom in salvation.
Many have failed to hold onto the Liberty with which Christ has provide for them but are enslaved by unseen forces into addictions. Addictions that they know not how it came about in there lives. And these things we are enslaved to, gradually takes away the goodness with which we were created with.
I have never seen a slave with a vision. A slave only waits to accomplish the orders of His master. The progress of a Slave sole depends on the progress of His master. But dreams and visions of accomplishments and achievements are for those who walk in Liberty.
This morning, we want to encourage you not to be yoked again to the very things God Almighty delivered you from them. But it is never to late. God is still out there making a change and offering salvation to all. He is ever ready to make you free again and to call you into a place call Home and to give you a Godly heritage. Are you battle with addictions and oppressions, God can still make a change today.
PRAYER: Thank you Dear Lord that once again you have given me freedom from addictions and oppressions in my life. Grant me the grace to hold fast unto this liberty that I will not fall into slavery again. Thank you that you have given me the privilege to dream and to accomplish my dreams. Amen.
Have a good day remembering that, a slave has no vision but He that hold fast His salvation and Liberty, dreams and the accomplishment of these dreams are assured.

Joyce Meyer (November-01) Daily Devotion: Open the Door to Christ.
Jesus is always knocking at the door of our hearts, but we need to remember that the doorknob is on our side. The Holy Spirit is a Gentleman, so He’ll never force His way into our lives—if we want His loving, guiding presence, we must welcome Him.
I want to encourage you to open the door of your heart to Him by stretching your faith a little. Be like Peter—the one who got out of the boat and walked on the water. Peter probably had butterflies in his stomach when he got out of that boat, but as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus, he kept making progress (see Matthew 14:23–30).
Back when we first started to travel, we quickly found that our attempts at sightseeing on our own were nearly wasted. We often spent a large part of the day getting lost and then trying to find our way back again. Over time, I’ve found that the best use of our time is to follow a guide rather than wandering aimlessly to find places ourselves, and I believe the same principle is true in our daily life. So many times we want to go our own way so we can do what we want to do, when we want to do it, but we end up getting lost and wasting our lives. We need the Holy Spirit guiding us through every day of our time on this earth, so it’s incredibly important to learn how to hear His voice.
The Holy Spirit knows both the mind of God and His individual plan for you. His road map for you is not necessarily like anybody else’s, so it doesn’t work to try to pattern your life after someone else or what he or she has heard from God. God has a unique plan for you, and the Holy Spirit knows what it is and will reveal it to you as you pursue Him (see Isaiah 30:21).
Maybe you’re like I was and have wasted many years walking your own way without seeking God’s guidance. Even if that’s the case, the good news is that it’s never too late to turn and go in a new direction—it’s not too late to learn how to hear from God. If you’re sincerely willing to obey Him, He will guide you on an exciting journey of learning to hear from Him every day of your life.
Prayer Starter: Father, thank You for guiding and showing me Your specific plan for my life. Today I invite You to begin to lead and teach me more than ever before. In Jesus’ name, amen.
