Joel Osteen - Sermon: You'll Get Double for Your Trouble. In this sermon Joel Osteen talks about dealing with it. He says ‘it’ is anything that is keeping you from being your best. Joel shows you that in order to go higher with God part of your flesh has to go lower.

Jentezen Franklin (January-27-2024) Daily Devotional: Doors Of Destiny.

“They passed the first and second guard posts and came to the iron gate leading into the city, and this opened for them all by itself.” Acts 12:10

When Peter was in prison, he was shackled down with two chains, guarded by two guards at all times, and then there was a huge iron gate blocking his escape. When Peter was released and led out by the angel, the gate opened itself. The doors were already unlocked. Maybe today, some doors seem locked in your life. Doors that lead to God’s dreams and destiny. What if God is waiting for you to gather enough courage to take a step of faith? You don’t have to know how that door will open; you just have to move toward it.

Peter was being held back by doors that were not even locked. Some of you are in the same mindset. There will be doors that look closed, but as you walk by faith, God will make those doors open. Your job is to keep walking in the right direction. You don’t have to try to push the door open. Just keep going and do everything for the glory of God.

With just a little faith, God will open doors for you that no man can shut. If you’re supposed to be there, the doors are already unlocked. Just keep walking in faith and living according to God’s Word, and you will see Him open new doors you never dreamed possible.

The sermon "Your Words Determine Your Destiny" - Kenneth Copeland (online). Do your words flip-flop? If you speak faith-filled words one day and fear-filled words the next, you won’t accomplish what you want. Watch Kenneth Copeland on Believer’s Voice of Victory share how we have the God-Anointed right to choose the words under which we live and determine our own destiny.

Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Believer's Voice of Victory Broadcast. I'm Kenneth Copeland. Every day, from December the 1st through December the 25th, we are giving a and sowing into you a free downloadable gift. I'm telling you, you don't want to miss this. This is good. Christmas is wonderful. Praise God. And we get in it. Praise the Lord. We get in it in our household. Father, we thank You today for the Word. We give You praise, and we honor You for Your presence here. We open our hearts, and we open our minds for revelation from heaven. And we thank You. We believe we receive it, and we give You the honor and the glory in Jesus' name. Amen. We're talking about words, the most important things in this planet, actually in this whole creation. That makes the Word of God the most precious thing there is. Amen. We live in a God-created "In the beginning, God created the heaven and earth." "God said, Light be: light was." Then we live in we're a Word-created environment. We live in a Word-upheld environment. He's upholding all things by the Word of His power.

Joel Osteen (November-14-2023) Today's Word: Your Destiny is Calling.

Today’s Scripture: Luke 1:59–60, NIV - On the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they were going to name him after his father Zechariah, but his mother spoke up and said, "No! He is to be called John."

Today’s Word: It's interesting that when John the Baptist was born, the neighbors and relatives decided his name should be Zechariah, after the father. But even before John was conceived, the angel Gabriel had told Zechariah that his name was John, and he would walk in the spirit and power of Elijah and prepare the people for the Lord.

We all have "theys" in our life. We should take counsel and listen to advice, but you cannot let other people name your future. Sometimes people will try to name you something you're not. They'll name you addicted, or average, or not that talented. Don't let them put limitations on you and convince you that you can't accomplish your dreams. The principle is: let your heavenly Father name your future. You are who God says you are--blessed, strong, talented, prosperous, forgiven, and healthy. God is telling you what you can become. Your destiny is calling. You have to believe it, then you'll see it.

Prayer for Today: "Father, thank You that You put a promise and dream in my heart. Thank You for calling me to my destiny. I'm not going to be moved by who's not cheering me on. I know You being for me is more than enough to get me to where I'm supposed to be. In Jesus' Name, Amen."

TD Jakes - Sermon: Run After Your Destiny. From The Potter’s House series Run Your Race comes the motivational message “Run After Your Destiny.”

Bishop T.D. Jakes preaches from John’s story of Christ’s resurrection and His followers’ response when they discovered the tomb open and Jesus’ body gone. While we know the end of the story, he encourages us to imagine how the women felt when they found their Messiah inexplicably gone. Already hurting, already in sorrow, this shock dealt them another blow – and they ran back to the disciples with the news.

Life often deals us surprises, but nothing surprises God. While nothing in this life is certain, our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has us covered.

We must not let the disruptions of life disrupt us from our purpose. We must run after it. When the women told the disciples what they’d discovered, Peter and “the other disciple” ran together to the tomb.

Daily Devotional (May-13-2023) Content of Destiny.

"Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore" - Psalm 16: 11.

There are three things contained in your destiny, and there are clearly articulated in the following Scriptural verse (Psalm, 16:11). In your destiny is hidden: Your path of life, Your fullness of joy, and Your pleasure forevermore.

These are the things that a consistent walk with God and a fulfilled destiny delivers to you.

The Lord Jesus Christ did not shy away from the Cross because, it was His destiny. The cross and the challenges inherent in it is His path of life; and for the joy set before Him, He endured the cross. There are things you don't enjoy, but must endure them because there are in your path of life, and only going through them will you have fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore.

There is a path for your life, charted by God that will lead to your ultimate fulfillment, and safe arrival to the destination that prompted the journey of your life. This is the path God will walk with you, where you enjoy His presence. The devil will fight you all the way. He will throw anything at you to derail you and ensure you deviate from this path.

Prayer: I unwrap your destiny to ultimate fulfillment and safe arrival to the destination that prompted your journey in life. Your destiny in God shall be fulfilled in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Sermon Removing the Barriers to Destiny by Bishop TD Jakes.

Daily Devotional (May-09-2023) The Battle Of Destiny.

Scripture Reference: Matthew 26, 24. "The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It had been good for that man if he had not been born"

Destiny is course or path in life that includes both the God-given destination you are seeking and your own faith-motivated journey towards that destination. Your destiny in God is your God-given course of life with all its challenges, hopes and dreams.

Destiny is the wisdom of God for your life. In God's wisdom, there are heights you must attain, privileges you must have and there is a route chosen by Him you must take to get to your ultimate destination in life. There are challenges and processes you must go through to pre- pare you for what God has prepared for you.

The Lord Jesus realized this and yielded to it instead of fighting against it (Matthew, 26: 24).

Destiny is God's blueprint for your life. God has a blue-print for your life that contains all your details and He de- sires to build you using that blueprint.

No architects start a building project without first having all the design and details of the building and how it would look like when finished in a blueprint as a guide. Similarly, no engineer designs something he has not first finished on a paper. In the same way, God has the technical and architectural design and drawing of every stage of your life and He wants to build you according to His design. The Psalmist understood this (Psalm, 139: 13 - 17).

The only difference between you in the hand of God and the building in the hand of an architect is that while the building has no say and does not question the wisdom of the architect, you, as a human being can reject God's de- sign and detailed plan for your life by your decisions.

God builds as an architect, and you go to site to implement the designs of the architect.

Unless you follow the designs and details outlined by the architect of your life, you might end up laboring in vain and never arrive at the destination that prompted the journey of your life. You must follow your blueprint to avoid laboring in vain (Psalm, 127: 1).

How can God build something and you are still laboring to build the same thing? God builds as an architect, and human beings go to site building as the Masons, Brick- layers, Carpenters and other laborers in a building site.

Understand that except the Lord builds the house, the builders will labor in building but their labor will be in vain. It will amount to nothing. Therefore, when building your life and destiny, you must first discover what God has built: the design, details and diagrams and build exactly what He has built otherwise you might end up laboring in vain.

Destiny is God's roadmap for your life. A roadmap is an atlas showing the features and buildings of a city; the roads, the hills and valleys, the sea, the distance between one city to the other and how to navigate them. It guides travelers and shows them all the possible routes and intersections they would meet in their journey. What a roadmap is to traveler and a driver is a clear illustration of your destiny.

Prayer: By the leading of the Holy Spirit, may you constantly walk on your destiny path in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. You will not miss your way in life in Jesus Name. Amen!

Popular sermons online

As the concept suggests, a preacher is one who practices the art of preaching. The word "preaching" is originally associated with the religious sphere of activity. Language researchers note that of all religious texts, this word - like the type of activity itself - is most closely associated with Christianity. Preachers teach Bible truths when speaking to believers or unbelievers.

Most of the Bible's sermons are in the New Testament. The sermon, as we find it in the Book of Acts and the Epistles, is expressive, but at the same time brief. It is built on the fundamental truths of Christianity: the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The preaching of the Church, in whatever form it is delivered - be it an ardent call to repentance for sins and salvation or the gospel story of a relationship with God and people - is by nature Christocentric.

Christian online preaching isn’t just a statement of spiritual truths, but as a sacred act, during which the preacher, in cooperation with the Lord the Holy Spirit, accomplishes the work of salvation for unbelieving listeners and the process of spiritual growth for the saved. Words spoken by a person cannot strengthen faith, but the biblical sermon in the mouths of preachers has a special power that can transform a person's soul. It is on this supernatural power of preaching that the preacher's authority is established.

Despite the fact that the evangelical Church teaches about the priesthood of every born-again Christian, in the work of biblical preaching, special attention is paid to the character and moral character of the preacher. The moral right to proclaim eternal biblical truths, to preach the Gospel from the pulpit or in another setting on behalf of the Church, can not only be those who know these truths, but who have Christian virtues, a character that reflects Christ. We are talking about a person who sincerely loves God and the people to whom he addresses, deeply interested in the eternal and earthly well-being of his listeners. A person with the good name of a Christian, who has a "good testimony" confirmed by time and the Church. Since we are talking about eternal, enduring truths, the writing of which was inspired by the holy God, proclaim them on behalf of the Author, i.e. of God Himself, it is permissible for the one who knows Him personally, has constant communion with Him and obeys Him implicitly. From the point of view of the essence and basis of the message that he proclaims, the preacher is not the author of his message and therefore doesn’t have the right to change the truths being proclaimed. He represents the interests and fulfills the will of the One who authorized him for this with the authority of His glorious name, and, therefore, the preacher is obliged to accurately convey to his audience what was entrusted to him by God. Freely interpreting Scripture and presenting to the audience their own interpretation of eternal biblical truths, posing as God's revelation on behalf of God, is not only a distortion of the truth, but also an ethical violation that entails consequences. However, in the sermon, it is not forbidden to mention personal experience, as well as the experience of other people, examples from various areas of public life to the extent that these examples correspond to the truth and contribute to a more accurate and understandable message of it.

Of course, in the modern world, taking into account the development of communications, a preacher is expected to possess the skills of oratory. This is not a strict requirement, but it is always encouraged, as it is an undeniable advantage and serves the greater benefit and success of the preaching work.

There are many preachers in modern Christianity who have achieved recognized success in the preaching work.
