Set Times - Joel Osteen Daily Devotional (March-20-2023). Today's Scripture: Genesis 21:2, AMPC For Sarah became pregnant and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time God had told him.
Today's Word. Abraham was one hundred years old when Sarah did what seemed impossible and gave birth to Isaac at the age of ninety, exactly at the set time God had promised. They had waited for the fulfillment of the promise over twenty years, had seen no sign of it happening, and every circumstance said there was no way. But God is faithful. What He promised was en route.
Maybe God has put promises in your heart that seem too late. You don’t see how you can get well or how your child can get back on course. When thoughts tell you that it’s too late, let that go in one ear and out the other. God is lining up the healing, the favor, the good breaks—they’re already on your schedule. It’s all set in His timing. Keep honoring God and every blessing that has your name on it is coming in. People can’t stop it, bad breaks can’t stop it, age can’t stop it, the economy can’t stop it, and forces of darkness can’t stop it. Get ready for it.
Prayer for Today. Father, thank You that You have established set times to bring Your promises to pass in my life. Give me the grace to accept Your timing and wait patiently, knowing that You’ve already scheduled things in for me. I believe that my times are in Your hands. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
The Timeless Thesis of God Part 2 - TD Jakes Sunday Sermon March-19-2023. Before the world, before light, before any creation at all … there was just God. When He spoke all things into existence, the Word was with God and was God. On His perfect timing, that Word became flesh to deliver the world from sin. Jesus came as priest, prophet, savior, redeemer, and king! He is the expression of God, because in Jesus all things were made [John 1:1-3]. As He was with God in the beginning, He will be with you everywhere and always. God is moving throughout the world right now gathering His family. Will you accept that timeless invitation of salvation?
The Timeless Thesis of God - TD Jakes Sunday Sermon March-12-2023. Scripture: Hebrews 1:1-12 (NIV). The book of Hebrews starts with a single, bold word: GOD. He represents more than we can even comprehend. He is everywhere! And His omnipresence extends beyond location. He is eternal. Are you 9? Are you 90? Are you 990? It doesn’t matter to God! His interaction with time is entirely different from ours. The past, present, and future are His to command! He is the beginning and the end — and He made us in His likeness. So, we can be comfortable with whom we are when we know the great I AM.
