Charles Stanley (December-08-2022) Daily Devotional: The Foundation of Praise.
As we spend time in the Word and learn more about God, our love for Him deepens.
Psalm 103:1-22 - Bless the LORD, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits;
Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases;
Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
The LORD performs righteous deeds And judgments for all who are oppressed.
He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel.
The LORD is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.
He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.
He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him.
As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.
For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust.
As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, And its place acknowledges it no longer.
But the lovingkindness of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children's children,
To those who keep His covenant And remember His precepts to do them.
The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty rules over all.
Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!
Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, You who serve Him, doing His will.
Bless the LORD, all you works of His, In all places of His dominion; Bless the LORD, O my soul!

This is How You Should Fight Satan Every Day: With Prayer, Praise & Proclamation - Derek Prince, Christian Motivation. 'To fight satan, we must apply the power of jubilant praise and bold proclamation as a spiritual weapon.' It's very important to know how to fight satan in spiritual warfare. Bible teacher Derek Prince distinguishes three activities from Jeremia 31:7 which are crucial for us to understand: 1. Prayer, 2. Praise and 3. Proclamation. These three activities will only be effective if we are committed to God and prepared to lay down your lives.
Joel Osteen (November-17-2021) Today's Word: Praise Brings Down Walls.
Today’s Scripture: Joshua 6:5, ESV - "And when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, when you hear the sound of the trumpet, then all the people shall shout with a great shout, and the wall of the city will fall down flat."
Today’s Word: Jericho was the last city that stood between the Israelites and the Promised Land. Its towering city walls were so wide that chariots rode on top of them. It looked impossible. God told Joshua to have them march around the wall for six days, then on the seventh day on the seventh time around, they were to give a great shout of praise. It didn't make sense to them, but God was saying, "If you'll praise Me while the wall is still standing, you'll see things begin to change."
There's always a Jericho that stands between you and your Promised Land, one last obstacle that looks insurmountable. Will you trust God enough to praise Him in spite of a bad medical report, to thank Him for freedom when you still have the addiction? You're so close, but you don't see how you can get passed it. Don't complain. Turn up your praise. Praise is what's going to bring the wall down.
Prayer for Today: "Father, thank You that no obstacle is so high and wide that it can withstand Your touch. Thank You that You're fighting my battles, and You hold victory in store for the upright. I believe that You will get me to where I'm supposed to be. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
Joyce Meyer (July-10-2021) Daily Devotion: A Sacrifice of Praise.
Are you in the middle of a really hard season in your life? Maybe you’ve been going through issues in your health, your finances, or your relationships, or you’ve been waiting for what feels like forever for a dream to become reality. Perhaps you’ve been praying and trusting God to meet the need for a long time, but nothing has changed yet. While you’re waiting for the answer is the perfect time to offer a sacrifice of praise.
It’s easy to praise God when everything is going well, but when you acknowledge and glorify Him in the midst of a troubling situation, that is a sacrifice—and it does not go unnoticed. When you offer a sacrifice of praise, God takes notice, and He goes to work on your behalf.
Prayer Starter: Father, thank You for bringing me this far, and for always staying by my side. Please help me to keep the right attitude and to keep acknowledging You in everything I do. Thank You for working in my situation, and for bringing me through this. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
Joel Osteen (June-04-2021) Daily Devotion: Turn Up the Praise.
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: “…the voice of those…who will bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause the captives of the land to return as at the first,” says the LORD. Jeremiah 33:11, NKJV
TODAY'S WORD: In today’s Scripture God was saying to His people, who had been taken into captivity in Babylon, that when you thank Him even though you don’t see anything good happening, when you offer up the sacrifice of praise, God is going to reverse negative situations and restore what’s been stolen. When you don’t see how it can work out, but you go through the day saying, “Father, thank You that the answer is on the way; thank You that this problem is turning around,” get ready because God is going to reverse and restore. He’s going to reverse finances that are down, reverse a bad health report, reverse a legal matter, and He’s even going to restore what should have been yours. He’s going to restore years that you’ve lost because somebody did you wrong. He’s going to restore a relationship that’s on the rocks, restore health back to your body. It’s going to happen because of your praise, so turn it up!
PRAYER FOR TODAY: “Father, thank You that You are bigger than any difficulty I will ever face. You are the Creator of the universe, and I offer You a sacrifice of praise and the deepest worship of my heart. I believe that You will reverse and restore what should have been mine. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
