Joyce Meyer (October-25-2020) Daily Devotion: In His Time
God moves in His timing, not yours. He is never late, but He’s usually not early either. He’s often the God of the midnight hour—He sometimes waits until the last possible second before He gives you what you need. Before He intervenes on your behalf, He has to be sure you’re not going to take matters into your own hands and do something out of His perfect timing.
We all need to learn to trust God's timing, but first our tendency to try to make things happen on our own timetable have to be broken so that He’s free to work His will in our life and circumstances.
I want to encourage you: If you’re waiting for something, set aside your own plan and thoughts of how it might happen. Trust God and believe that while you’re waiting for your breakthrough, He’s doing a good work in you that will bring a beautiful harvest later on.
Prayer Starter: Father, please help me trust You more with the timing of the dreams, prayers and hopes that have been in my heart for so long. Thank You that You’re working to bring about Your plan for me, which is so much better than mine. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Joel Osteen (October-24-2021) Today's Word: Simply Under Construction.
Today’s Scripture: Hebrews 3:4, NIV - For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.
Today’s Word: House building sites are often big messes of mud, discarded lumber, and trash piled high. What's interesting is that we don't say, "Stop building! It's never going to be a beautiful house." We know the mess is a part of the building process.
In the same way, you have to see the things that are messy in your life, things you struggle with, things that seem to be delays, as simply under construction. You may not like the mud--he disappointment, the setback, the betrayal--but it's part of the process. You can't become all you were created to be without messy times. Your architect and builder, the Most High God, isn't concerned about the mess because He designed a specific plan for your life. He's already taken into account all the delays, the things you don't understand, and even the mistakes you've made. God is saying, "You're not a finished product. What I started, I'm going to bring to completion."
Prayer for Today: "Father, thank You that You are my architect and builder, and You are working through a specific plan for my life. Thank You that I'm under construction. I'm growing, I'm coming up higher, and I know that You're going to finish what You started. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
John Hagee (October-24-2022) Daily Devotion: 2 Chronicles 7:15-16 - Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually
After Solomon completed the majestic Temple, he consecrated it to God. The glory of the Lord filled the building, and the children of Israel fell on their faces and rejoiced.
Later, the Lord appeared to Solomon and assured Him that He had chosen the Temple as a house of sacrifice. When He shut up the heavens and held back the rain, or commanded locusts to devour the land, or sent disease among the people, He made this promise to Solomon (II Chronicles 7:14).
If My people – not the Congress or Supreme Court – who are called by My name – not Republican or Democrat, but the God of heaven and earth Who created us in His image – humble themselves and pray – no flashy pretensions but repentant hearts seeking forgiveness – then, I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land.
We are the temple of the Holy Spirit, the dwelling place of the awe-inspiring Most High God. We are chosen, sanctified, and sealed with His name. His eyes are open, and His ears are attentive to our prayers. His gaze is upon us, and His heart is perpetually within us.
Today's Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you humble yourself and pray for your family, church, and nation. His eyes are open, His ears are attentive, and His heart is with you.

Joel Osteen (October-24-2022) Daily Devotion: Bold As A Lion.
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1, NKJV
TODAY'S WORD: We are called to live bold, confident and overcoming lives. You don’t have to live under a burden of fear. You don’t have to live with anxiety. Because of Jesus, fear, worry and uncertainty are beneath you. When you rise up in faith, knowing that God is with you and for you, all doubt and fear have to leave your life. Notice that today’s Scripture says that the righteous are as bold as a lion. Righteousness is God’s way of doing things. When you do things according to what He says in His Word, when you are submitted to His plan for your life, He promises success. It may not always be the way you had in mind, but ultimately, His plan is to prosper you, not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future! Today, if you’ve been feeling anxious or fearful, begin to declare God’s truth over your life that will set you free! Declare that you are righteous in Christ Jesus! Declare that you are more than a conqueror! Declare that you are as bold as a lion because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world!
PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for setting me free from a spirit of fear. Thank You for filling me with strength and boldness. I set aside thoughts of worry and dread and thank You for Your peace as I keep my mind fixed on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Joyce Meyer (October-24-2020) Daily Devotion: Taking the Pressure off Other People.
Love and acceptance are universal needs we all have, including the people in our lives. If we demand that people change to be more like us or to suit our liking, we’re putting a tremendous strain on those relationships, and if we continue, it won’t end well.
I remember the years I furiously tried to change my husband, Dave, and each of our children in different ways. Those were frustrating years, because no matter what I tried, it didn’t work. My efforts to change the people I loved weren’t helping matters. In fact, I often just made things worse.
As humans, all of us require space, or freedom, to be who we were created to be. We want to be accepted as we are. We don’t want people giving us the message, even subtly, that we need to change in order to be approved or loved. Nagging is not an effective tool for change. Only prayer and God’s love will do the job.
This doesn’t mean we accept sin in other people or merely put up with it, but it does mean that the way to change is prayer, not pressure. For change to last, it must come from the inside out, and only God can bring that type of true change. If we love people and pray for them, He will give us grace to love them where they are, and He’ll do the work that needs to be done in their hearts.
Prayer Starter: Father, please help me love and accept the people You’ve placed in my life, right where they are. Thank You for doing the work that needs to be done in them and for always loving and accepting me right where I am. In Jesus’ name, amen.
John Hagee (October-23-2022) Daily Devotion: Romans 15:13 - Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit
As long as we have breath in our lungs, we have a reason to hope. Our God is able! We do not possess the ability to control, contain or explain how He moves and works on our behalf, but we can be confident that He will never fail.
When we call on Him, He will deliver us. He may sail a baby in a basket down the Nile River to crush a mighty pharaoh. He may guide a shepherd with a smooth stone in his hand to take down the giant in front of us.
He may lead a ram up the side of a mountain to tangle his horns in a thicket. He has already provided the most precious gift of all in the form of a Baby wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger of hay. We can be assured that Jehovah Jireh will deliver us!
We once had no hope and lived without God in the world. We were strangers to the covenants of promise. But the shed blood of Jesus Christ brought us into that glorious circle, that marvelous kingdom of light. Hallelujah!
The Lord takes pleasure in those who hope in His mercy. Every person who places their hope in Him will never, ever be disappointed.
Today's Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit! May He fill you up with great joy!

Joel Osteen (October-23-2022) Daily Devotion: Celebrate Others.
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Rejoice with those who rejoice… Romans 12:15, NKJV
TODAY'S WORD: When a friend or family member succeeds, gets promoted or experiences an unexpected good break in life, how do you respond? Some people wonder, “What about me?” Others criticize or say, “It won’t last long.” But really, the way you respond to another person’s success will determine the level of your own success. Whether you respond in a negative or positive way, you are sowing seeds for your future. That’s why the Scripture tells us simply to “rejoice with those who rejoice.” God wants you to be successful. His commands are for your good. He doesn’t want jealousy or strife to enter your life and rob you of His blessing. Today, make it a point to find someone who is celebrating and celebrate with them. Congratulate them on their success no matter how small it seems in the natural. Rejoice with those who rejoice, sow seeds of blessing, and open the door for victory in your own life in return!
PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for Your hand of blessing not only on my life but on the lives of the people around me. I choose to rejoice in You, and I choose to rejoice over Your victory everywhere I go in Jesus’ name! Amen!
Joyce Meyer (October-23-2020) Daily Devotion: Love Your Life.
The more we speak about something, the more of that something we have. For example, if you talk about all the things you don’t like, you’ll start to dislike them even more, but talking about who and what you love will increase the ability to love in your life.
Very few people learn this blessed lesson: Love the life you have and never compare yourself, or what you have, to anyone else. I want to encourage you to learn to love every moment. If there’s something you really dislike in your life, change it if you can. If you don’t like your job, look for a different one. If you don’t like your neighborhood, move. If you don’t like the weather, realize you can’t change it and change your perspective. As Reinhold Neibuhr said: “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”
The more you’re filled with loving thoughts and the more you speak loving words, the happier you will be.
Prayer Starter: Father, please give me the ability to focus on the good things You’ve placed in my life, and to deal with the things that frustrate in the right way. Thank You for Your grace! In Jesus’ name, amen.
Joel Osteen (October-22-2022) Today's Word: Unconditional Trust.
Today’s Scripture: Daniel 3:18, NIV - "But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
Today’s Word: This is what three Hebrew teenagers did in the Scripture. They wouldn't bow down to the king of Babylon's golden idol. He was so furious that he was about to have them thrown into a fiery furnace. They said, "King, we're not worried. We know that our God will deliver us. But even if He doesn't, we're still not going to bow down." That's unconditional trust.
You may have a lot coming against you. Perhaps, you feel as though you're about to be thrown into a fire. This is the key: stay in faith, believe in your dreams, believe the situation will turn around, and then declare, "Even if it doesn't happen my way, I'm still going to be happy. God, if You turn it around, or if You don't turn it around, I'm still going to give You praise." You live like that and all the forces of darkness cannot keep you from your destiny.
Prayer for Today: "Father, thank You that You are worthy of my unconditional trust. There are things in my life that I don't understand, situations I want to see changed, but even if they never happen, I'm still going to trust You. I gladly leave these matters in Your hands. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
John Hagee (October-22-2022) Daily Devotion: Romans 13:11 - And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed
A significant and essential change needs to occur in this nation to combat the deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons that have hypnotized us!
We do not need a shift in our governmental system, for a certain party to come to power, or a dynamic voice to come to the forefront. The most vital and necessary change that needs to happen in this country is for apathetic, sleeping Christians to wake up!
Current circumstances are shaking us awake from our deadly slumber. The world is sleeping in the dark, but we have fallen asleep in the light. If we do not begin to use our freedom to defend our freedom, we will lose our freedom!
We are at a tipping point. The scales of justice and Truth are not just out of balance, they are in danger of toppling over. The scales of political correctness will not set us aright. The social scales will not reinstitute balance and order and peace.
The time is now to shake ourselves from sleep, to rekindle the flame in our hearts, and to stir up our passion for Jesus and His kingdom once again. Rise from your couch of complacency, and go into all the world. Wake up!
Today's Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May God send a Holy Spirit wind and fire into you, your church, your city and state, and this nation! May He do great and mighty things here again!
