David Jeremiah (February-17-2023) Daily Devotional: Love Like God Loves - Turning Point.
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. - Ephesians 4:32
Recommended Reading: Colossians 3:12-15 - CHARACTER OF THE NEW MAN - 12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
Jesus was a Jew, so when He taught, He used typically Jewish literary styles. For example, He used comparisons for purposes of illustration. In Matthew 13 there are eight kingdom parables, seven of which compare the kingdom of heaven to ordinary things: agriculture, seeds, treasure, a fishing net, and the like. Jesus illustrated something complex by comparing it to something familiar.
The apostle Paul also used a comparison to illustrate how we are to forgive others. We are to forgive others “as God in Christ forgave you.” The question then becomes, how did God in Christ forgive us? He forgave us unconditionally, willingly, generously, permanently, graciously, completely, sacrificially...and the list goes on. That means we are to forgive others the same way. If that sounds daunting, it is. But it also provides insight into the depth of God’s love for us and the love He expects us to extend to others in the form of forgiveness.
As God forgives others, so must we. Rather than resentment, let forgiveness be our response to any who have offended us.
True forgiveness breaks a man, and he must forgive. - D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones

Bruised Love - TD Jakes Sunday Sermon February-12-2023. Love hurts. Period. If it didn’t, we wouldn’t spend so much energy avoiding this one thing we truly want and need! Thankfully, the story doesn’t end there — for God loved us so much that He sent His beloved Son to hurt, bleed, and die for us. And we definitely did not deserve it! But even at our worst, God still loves us. We need to emulate Him, but it’s only possible once we’re filled with the Holy Spirit. Will you accept the gift of salvation today?

Watch Lisa Bevere - How God's Love Frees You from Shame & Fear. God loves each of His children uniquely, not equally. The core definition of unique means without equal or rival. Our Father God stands alone without rival, so we shouldn't be surprised that in His eyes we are daughters without rival, which eliminates every reason that we should ever compete with one another. When we discover that we are loved uniquely, we are empowered to love fearlessly.
Joyce Meyer - Watch Sermon: Notice God's Love. It's amazing how may miracles we miss when we're not paying attention. Joyce shares a story about how God loved her through coconut cream pie.
Charles Stanley (November-18-2022) Daily Devotional: The Love of God
We didn’t earn the love God has for us, and that’s why we can never lose it.
1 John 4:7-21 - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. We love, because He first loved us. If someone says, ``I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.
