John Hagee (September-07-2022) Daily Devotional: Hebrews 12:26 - …but now He has promised, saying, ‘Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven’
At the end of the age, God has warned that He will shake the earth and the heavens, that everything will change as a great shaking occurs.
Every offensive thing that has not been established by God will be shaken loose and removed from its place. Every nation will be shaken – not one will escape this momentous sifting.
When Nehemiah discovered that the wealthy children of Israel were taking advantage of their poorer brothers, he called them to account. They admitted their treachery and took an oath to stop oppressing them and to return the fields, houses, olive groves, and taxes they had taken from them. Nehemiah shook out the folds of his robe to demonstrate how God would shake out and empty the house and possessions of every man who did not keep his promise (Nehemiah 5).
Before the Day of the Lord, governments will fall, currencies will fail, and Christianity will suffer a tremendous falling away. Judgment will begin in the house of God. If it begins here, what will happen to those who have refused to obey the gospel (I Peter 4:17)? Even now, the tremors have begun.
Establish your heart in God! Be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord (I Corinthians 15:58). When the shaking comes, you will stand fast in Him.
Today's Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May God the Father establish you in every good word and work. Stand firm in the power of His might!

John Hagee (August-13-2022) Daily Devotional: Hebrews 12:1 - Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
The book of Hebrews likens our faith journey to a race that we are to run with the single-minded passion of a champion.
Too many times, we run like t-ball players. We get distracted, lie down in the outfield, and chase butterflies. We fill up our hats with dirt and run to third base instead of first. But God calls us to discipline and focus.
We must align with the Lion of Judah to understand the roar of Him inside of us. We need to get lean and mean so that when we step up to the starting block, Satan and his minions tremble. It will be a fight to the finish, and they are on the losing team.
We may experience loneliness, the weariness of putting one foot in front of another, the struggle to keep going, the frustration of a road not headed where we expected. In those laps, God refines us until we grow bold and strong in Him.
We are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses – all the pioneers who blazed the trail before us – and they are cheering us on to victory. Jesus began a good work in us and will see it through to the finish line!
Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you run the race before you with purpose, power, and passion. Run to win!
