John Hagee (September-03-2022) Daily Devotional: Joshua 23:8 - …but you shall hold fast to the LORD your God, as you have done to this day.

Our relationship with Jesus should be marked by single-minded stick-to-it-iveness! We need to cling to Him, to hold fast to Him.

We have discovered that Christians do not enjoy issue-free lives. Quite the opposite, in fact! We do not possess the ability to pray away every bad thing. One of the biggest temptations we face is to believe that, when difficulties or tragedies occur in our lives, God has turned His back on us.

The inclination in the middle of a health crisis or when the bills outweigh the paycheck or when our prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling is to believe that God no longer sees us, that He does not care enough to intervene.

In those moments, there is a deciding, a choosing, and a clinging to Him. We determine that we are not going anywhere, that He is our choice no matter the circumstances. We set our hearts on things above.

Even though He absolutely can deliver us from every trouble, He often chooses not to pull us out. Instead, He walks with us through the fire to refine us and deepen our trust in His faithfulness.

If we let go or turn away with accusations and anger, we will miss the victory of coming through to the other side with an overcoming testimony and an unshakeable faith.

Today's Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. Cling to God! He holds you safely in the palm of His hand, and nothing can steal you away from Him.

John Hagee (September-10-2022) Daily Devotional: Joshua 6:2-3 - And the Lord said to Joshua: ‘See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days.’

If you have served God for any time at all, it goes without saying that His ways are not our ways. The path that He charts, the routes where He sends us are not normally the ones that we would choose.

Joshua must have felt the same way when God announced His plan to take down the walls of Jericho. Walk around the walls in silence for six days? What about weapons, battle strategies, and manpower?

In our spiritual lives, it often feels like we walk in circles around the same situations. However, God has built a lesson into every lap. When our common sense says that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, His is the path of righteousness.

We long for progress, but God gives us the opportunity to take another lap and learn another lesson. Our Jerichos are gifts – not burdens – so that we may witness the greatness of God and gain His wisdom with every step.

It might look like another lap, but God is leading us. He is growing us. He is demonstrating His goodness. When the walls fall flat, we will understand the lesson in every lap.

Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you see your Jericho as a gift from God to shape your life, to grow your faith, and to demonstrate the power of the Savior that we serve. He brings down the impossible in the power of His name!

John Hagee (January-16-2023) Daily Devotional: Joshua 1:8 - This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

For Joshua to become great, the first ingredient God told him he needed is courage. The second ingredient is to stay connected to His Word. In order for Joshua to be successful and prosper, he couldn’t just think about the Word, he had to live in the Word. God was saying “Keep this Word before your eyes in the morning and evening, in your mind during the day, and out of your mouth when you speak. Do whatever it says. If you’ll do this, no matter where you go or what you do, no matter the problems you face or the needs you have, no matter the giants that come against you or the cities that need to be defeated, no matter the land that needs to be conquered or the hour in which you’re living, you will be a success!”

God said it. Observe the Word, speak it, keep it, don’t turn from it, and you’ll be successful wherever you go.

Today's Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you; giving you His peace. May God restore your confidence so that you can walk with a supernatural strength and courage you have never known before. May God remove the barriers that are before you. May God open the doors that have been closed and let a door be open that no man can close. May God send His angels before you to prepare your way so that when you get there, everything is in divine order for your success. May God give to you, to your business, to your family a successor so that there can be success sustained for generations from the fruit of your labor. May the God of heaven anoint you now with an anointing to be successful in what you do because the Lord delights in the prosperity of the righteous. In Jesus’ name, we receive this blessed promise, Amen.

John Hagee (January-11-2023) Daily Devotional: Joshua 1:5 - No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.

For at least 40 years, Joshua looked to Moses as the great problem solver for the people of Israel. He had seen the miracles performed and heard God’s Word spoken through Moses. But Moses was dead, and now Joshua needed the same power to solve problems. Joshua’s time had come, and sooner or later, your time will come as well. God will direct you to lead something for His purpose. When that time comes, the only way you’ll succeed is if you engage with God and hear what He has to say to you. God will move you out of every comfort zone and into what I call “the God Zone” where you hear His voice.

Joshua is in the God Zone, and the Lord opens the conversation with this promise: “As I was with Moses, so shall I be with you.” God was telling Joshua the same thing He told Moses from the burning bush: “I AM the source of your power. I AM the One who parts the waters. I AM the One who rained manna on you in the wilderness. And I AM the same yesterday, today and forever.” He had been with Moses. He was with Joshua. And the same God is with you now!

Today's Blessing: Father, bless them and keep them. Make Your face shine upon them and let the promise of Your Word come alive in their lives. Let them abandon fear and forsake worry and place their trust in the God who has never failed, that the enemies that stand before them are defeated before their very eyes. Therefore, we, the redeemed of the Lord, celebrate what Christ has done and declare victory on behalf of what He will do. In Jesus’ name, we receive this blessing.

Popular sermons online

As the concept suggests, a preacher is one who practices the art of preaching. The word "preaching" is originally associated with the religious sphere of activity. Language researchers note that of all religious texts, this word - like the type of activity itself - is most closely associated with Christianity. Preachers teach Bible truths when speaking to believers or unbelievers.

Most of the Bible's sermons are in the New Testament. The sermon, as we find it in the Book of Acts and the Epistles, is expressive, but at the same time brief. It is built on the fundamental truths of Christianity: the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The preaching of the Church, in whatever form it is delivered - be it an ardent call to repentance for sins and salvation or the gospel story of a relationship with God and people - is by nature Christocentric.

Christian online preaching isn’t just a statement of spiritual truths, but as a sacred act, during which the preacher, in cooperation with the Lord the Holy Spirit, accomplishes the work of salvation for unbelieving listeners and the process of spiritual growth for the saved. Words spoken by a person cannot strengthen faith, but the biblical sermon in the mouths of preachers has a special power that can transform a person's soul. It is on this supernatural power of preaching that the preacher's authority is established.

Despite the fact that the evangelical Church teaches about the priesthood of every born-again Christian, in the work of biblical preaching, special attention is paid to the character and moral character of the preacher. The moral right to proclaim eternal biblical truths, to preach the Gospel from the pulpit or in another setting on behalf of the Church, can not only be those who know these truths, but who have Christian virtues, a character that reflects Christ. We are talking about a person who sincerely loves God and the people to whom he addresses, deeply interested in the eternal and earthly well-being of his listeners. A person with the good name of a Christian, who has a "good testimony" confirmed by time and the Church. Since we are talking about eternal, enduring truths, the writing of which was inspired by the holy God, proclaim them on behalf of the Author, i.e. of God Himself, it is permissible for the one who knows Him personally, has constant communion with Him and obeys Him implicitly. From the point of view of the essence and basis of the message that he proclaims, the preacher is not the author of his message and therefore doesn’t have the right to change the truths being proclaimed. He represents the interests and fulfills the will of the One who authorized him for this with the authority of His glorious name, and, therefore, the preacher is obliged to accurately convey to his audience what was entrusted to him by God. Freely interpreting Scripture and presenting to the audience their own interpretation of eternal biblical truths, posing as God's revelation on behalf of God, is not only a distortion of the truth, but also an ethical violation that entails consequences. However, in the sermon, it is not forbidden to mention personal experience, as well as the experience of other people, examples from various areas of public life to the extent that these examples correspond to the truth and contribute to a more accurate and understandable message of it.

Of course, in the modern world, taking into account the development of communications, a preacher is expected to possess the skills of oratory. This is not a strict requirement, but it is always encouraged, as it is an undeniable advantage and serves the greater benefit and success of the preaching work.

There are many preachers in modern Christianity who have achieved recognized success in the preaching work.
