Watch Steven Furtick Ministries (June-28-2020) Sunday Sermon: Hope Is In Our DNA | Lisa Harper. Hope isn’t always easy to hold on to — especially in overwhelming or difficult seasons. In “Hope Is In Our DNA,” Lisa Harper teaches on some of the most “hopeless” passages in the Bible — only to show that hope is often where we least expect it. From the Garden of Eden to King David to Jesus Himself, Lisa reveals how, just when you think nothing can change, God can change everything. And when things seem dark and we feel alone and we’re not sure how things are ever going to get better... He is there with restoration, redemption, and hope.
Meditating On God’s Word: Psalms & Prophecies of Peace - Steven Furtick, podcast (April-07-2020). We’ve put together these scriptures to bring you peace and comfort in the midst of stressful situations.
He’s with you right now - Steven Furtick Motivation (March-31-2020). "When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked. “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha." 2 Kings 6:15-17
He’s with you right now. God did not answer Elisha’s prayer by eliminating the enemy. Instead, He illuminated His presence. So faith is not a lever that I pull, like, “God, make it stop.” Faith is a lens that I look through to see that God has been there the whole time. From the sermon, “I’m Still Scared.”
He’s with you right now. Whatever’s going on in your life, all you need to do is stay with your Father right now, stay in faith right now. And the only way to do that is to change your focus.
The situation didn’t change in 2 Kings 6 — the focus did. The only way I know to stop being afraid is to change what I’m focused on. And so we need to begin to asking the Lord to illuminate, not eliminate. “God, take the fear away.” It doesn’t work like that. “God, give me all the answers. Tell me the plan. I need the strategy.” God said, “Before I give you the strategy, I want to give you your sight and shine light on your situation.”
You Will Not Have To Fight This Battle (Give It Back) - Steven Furtick (March-27-2020). It's wise to choose your battles when you can, but what do you do when your battle chooses you?
